Alice felt like she had been walking for ages, when she finally saw a light in the distance. Her leg shook with every step now. She hoped the light was real and not just some illusion. She couldn't keep going much further.

As the light got closer, Alice noticed a rustling sound coming from the treetops. A Grovyle dropped down from a branch, startling her. She almost cried in relief when she realised it was one of Max's Pokemon. "M-Max?" she managed to stutter.

And then he was there, breaking through the bushes. The bright light was coming from his Porygon2. She stayed as still as possible while it scanned her for injuries. She wanted to ask what had happened but was too lightheaded to talk. Soon Max was kneeling down in front of her, bandaging her leg.

"Lila going to guide you to the camp." Max said. "Youll be safe."

"Th-thank you," Alice said, but Max had already taken off in another direction.

Alice followed Lila. The warmth from her tail was comforting, as was the light. She was happy not to be alone anymore. More than anything, she wished Aster was by her side.

Soon she saw another light in the distance. It flickered cheerfully. As she got closer, she saw three figures stand up and walk towards her. Alice was so tired now, she had to force her eyes to stay open. Her sore leg was throbbing and she realised she was shaking, still suffering shock from what had happened.

Just as she felt she couldn't take another step, Brandon appeared. "Are you ok? Are you injuried? Do you need any help?" he asked.

"I-I'm okay, I just... I need to..."

Alice felt herself falling, and then everything went black.
