After stopping hugging Rose. The two went to the pokemon center to heal up. Something odd began to happen as Pika started to glow. Megs eyes lit up.
"Whoa look at that! Pika Power!!!"



Meg almost flipped her lid when she saw the now evolved Pikachu!
"You are sooo adorable." She said scooping him up for a moment.

After a little to much hugging the little electric type let out a spark. That knocked Meg to the ground. Meg didnt seem to mind.
" tough love.." She laughed getting back to her feet.

Max and Alice slowly moved in closer.

He smiled at her response but quickly went back to being serious. He had been testing her to see how she would respond and what she would notice.
" Good...but here is my concern. What do the Museum, Poketech and that small business have in common?" He questioned trying to get her to look harder.

Max gave her a minute or two to respond before talking.

"You know Alice, I wont always be around. Eventually all of you will be traveling and exploring on your own. I imagine you want to be scientist which requires a lot of experiments and observations. What we are doing now follows the same basic rules. We study the area around us, look for clues and see how they react. In this case are reaction will be coming in..five...four...three ...two ...one.." Max pulled her back so they were hidden better.

An alarms started to go off and the doors burst open and a bunch of men came running out shouting. Rotom had triggered the alarm which set off the sprinklers. The people coming out confirmed what Max had feared.
"Team Rocket is here." He growled.
"We need to get back to the others...something is going on.."
