Alice got a bit of a fright as two round ears popped out from one of the hedges. Her Pokedex rumbled. She pulled it out of her pocket and a Sentret was shown on the screen.

"Interesting, a Johto native Pokemon," Alice remarked. "Your turn this time, Marionette!"

"Shupshup!" Marionette said happily. She snuck up behind the Sentret and hit it from behind with Will-o-Wisp. The Sentret shot out of the hedge and looked around for the now invisible Marionette.

"Confusion!" Alice called.

"Shup!" Marionette reappeared, her eyes glowing. The Sentret was picked up, it struggled in midair before it was slammed down again on the ground.

"Great work!" Alice grinned. "Now, let's catch it!"
