When Rocky began talking to his Rattata, Rose began to panic. "Wait a minute, don't you think we should talk this over?" She asked. Rocky proceeded to charge at the grunts. Rose stood still for a moment, trying to figure out what to do. It was clear that she had only one option though, and that was to fight. "A-Amirah, now that you are stronger, do you think you can try to confuse some of the grunts?" She asked, moving a bit closer to the grunts, but having no intention of charging in like Rocky did. Amirah responded with a telepathic "Yes" and began to hover towards the grunts, but trying to still stay close enough to Rose to send her information.

Rose released her Nidoran. "I know I've hardly gotten a chance to talk to you before now, and I haven't even named you yet," she said, kneeling down in front of it, "but can you try to keep some of the geodude's in here occupied?" The poison type contemplated the question for a moment, looking down at the ground. After a few seconds, it looked back up at Rose and nodded.
