Brandon watched as the boss's called out a pretty, huge Onix and forcefully made it smash against the wall, he felt sorry for the poor thing, he listened as Rocky and Alice conversed with the grunts, then he watched as a grunt moved from the what he could assume was back of the group and then appeared by Rocky grabbing him and putting him against the wall, though something just didn't seem right about that grunt... he saw through the corner of his eye hand rocky something... then watched as the grunt started the diversion... then finally the grunt revealing himself as Max... Brandon thought happily "MAX!!!!!"

Then his happiness faded in a flash of horror as Rose's Amirah used confused ray, the grunts sent out pokemon to attack max, but in the distraction forgetting about Onix who went wild... Brandon hoped it didn't come too close, he still couldn't move much yet.
