The Grunt introduced himself, quite rudely in Rocky's opinion. He then released his Pokemon. Rocky was shocked by the size and strength of the Grunt's Pokemon. He looked into the Grunt's eyes and realized the situation. Those were the eyes of a petty bully who liked to pick fights on trainers weaker than him.
'Looks like today's lesson is 'How to lose with grace'' Rocky thought as he squared up against this overpowered grunt and his Pokemon.

First to attack was Rapha's Graveller. Rocky responded by sending in Behemoth. The Hippopotas gave as good as it got, cracking the Graveller's rocky carapace. Unfortunately behemoth was too young to finish off the experienced Graveller.

Seeing a grass type on the field Both Fury and Professor stepped forward. Fury looked annoyed when Rocky sent the Nidorino out. The Nidorino looked at the Ivysaur and smiled. The Ivysaur tried to use Vine whip, but Professor grabbed the vines in his mount and then jabbed his poison horn into the vine pumping in a toxic venom, knocking out the Ivysaur.

Rapha ordered his pair of Golbats to attack, but Professor was having non of that. He burrowed underground and emerged under Rapha's Paras' feet colliding solidly with the huge fungus Pokemon.

By this stage, Fury was shaking with anticipation wanting to get into the fight. He didn't care that he was severely outmatched, he just wanted to fight. With a roar Fury attacked.

Seeing no more Pokemon on Rocky's side, Rapha started to taunt him. "You only took out two of my Pokemon. How Pathetic are you. Hahaha..."
"Speedy, now!" Rocky interrupted the grunt's taunting. The little Rattata leaped out of the shadows and hit the Paras with a devastating Bite attack.

"Destroy that Rattata!" commanded the annoyed Grunt. The two Golbats both flew in to tag-team the much smaller Rat Pokemon.
"Speedy, we don't need to win this, just draw it out. Keep them busy until Max has finished. Can you do that?"
"Rata!" said Speedy with a cheeky grin. he then played a very dangerous game of tag with the two huge Bat Pokemon. The fight took a long time, with Rapha's Golbats finding it almost impossible to land a hit on the fast rat. It was just a delaying tactic though. Eventually the Golbats wore down Speedy.

Rocky had run out of Pokemon, he had done his best, but he simply not strong enough to take down this grunt. He just hoped that he had slowed him down enough to help Max get the Onix under control.
"Aron?" Rocky turned and saw Rusty Running towards him. She had freed herself from Cassidy's control. She jumped into Rocky's arms and he gave her a hug. She then jumped out of Rocky's arms to challenge the Grunt and his Golbats.
"What do you expect that runt to do?" Rapha taunted.
Rocky smiled, remembering Rusty's last fight against Zubats. She would probably need some help though.

The Zincs had a strong effect on Rusty, she seemed more confident and ready to fight. She stood forward to once more defend her beloved trainer from these nasty bats. The first one zoomed in and Rusty met it head on slamming her head into the bat as it dove into her.

The second Golbat tried to keep its distance, but Rusty was not going to allow it to hurt her trainer. She dug up a huge piece of rock and hurled into at the Golbat, knocking it to the ground.

Tired and worn out, Rusty stood victorious and cried out a victorious 'Aron' at the stunned grunt. The easy victory had been stolen from the villain, and Rocky stood victorious thanks to his faithful Aron.
