Brandon woke up in his makeshift tent to bright sunshine, he pulled the blanket off of him and stretched a little on his makeshift bed, then he grabbed his pack, pokemon's balls then crawled out of his tent. His fire had burnt down to the coals, he looked around, it seemed some of the others were up, Brandon's belly growled, it had been awhile since he had a proper meal, he rummaged in his backpack and pulled out a small can of beans from his pack, he got down close to the remaining coals of the fire, he blew on the coals which re united the flames. He grabbed some more small twigs and dried leaves and fed them to the fire, the Brandon set up a stick to hang over the flames, Brandon grabbed his knife and cut off a peice of rope from his makeshift tent, he tied the rope to the stick, the Brandon pulled up the opening handle on the can of beans and tied the other end of the rope to it.

While the beans cooked, Brandon packed up the rest of his gear, saving whatever rope he could. Once this was done Brandon called out Skipper and Marshtomp, Skipper looked as enegertic as ever and jumped for joy at the site of the fire. With Skipper looking as healthy as ever Brandon wondered if maybe... Brandon reached for Pidgey's pokeball, pressing the button, the bird pokemon flew out, he circled in the sky a bit stretching his wings pleasantly giving the occasion caw.... Then the bird came down and landed on his trainers shoulder gently, nudging the trainer shoulder and neck with its head. Brandon chuckled "Yeah I am happy to see you too buddy" then he released the rest of his team 1 by 1, all were healthy and all gave similar reactions upon being let out, except Manky who screeched with anger and punched at the air, as if cursing it for what happened the day before, then it calmed down and went to converse with Brandon's Pidgey, seemly asking it if it was okay.

Soon the beans were done and Brandon took them off the fire, he pulled out of his bag a couple strips of beef jerky and a bottle of water, then he sat down and ate his meal, sharing some with his pokemon and giving them each their own granola bar as well. After the meal Brandon had Marshtomp extinguish the fire, which he did happily, he had stayed well away from it, silently hoping his trainer would the okay to seek vengeness on his arche nemesis. Using water gun it was over in a matter of seconds.
Then Brandon collected the rest of his things and walked towards the main camp to see who was awake and to meet with the others. His pokemon followed right behind him, all were very hyper and although Brandon told them to stay qiuet because others were still probably asleep, they still whipered qiuetely to each other about the previous days events.
