Before Alice could answer, Meg's bag started shaking. Alice's Pokedex began rumbling, signalling the presence of a new Pokemon.

"What in the world??" Meg said, a little confused.

"Meg! Your egg..." Alice replied, looking down at her Pokedex. It was stuck on the "scanning" screen as it tried to get a read on the Pokemon inside.

Alice checked her own egg, but it was as quiet as ever. Alice was relieved to feel that it was still warm.
