Max had been mapping on the fastest route to Pewter when the egg hatched. He walked back joining them checking out the little the bunnelby.
"Congrats...be careful those little guys can be a handful." He turned to catch what Rocky was saying. He walked up to see what he was talking about..

He turned to the Rose for a moment getting the odd feeling that this might have been him. His initials were MRD.. The confusion set him off a little. Max didnt say a word turning away form the others. After a moment.
"We need to keep moving.." He said a little out of it.

"The amber needs to get back to the Museum asap." He continued picking a rocky path that cut around the peaks back to Route 2. The team continued for a couple of hours through the rocky slope finally reaching the grassy route 2 fields.
