After the capture the team was finally back on their way. The walk to Cerulean was not short walk. Thirty Minutes had past before they finally were out of the shadow of Mt. Moon. As they continued up the route something strange caught there eye. In and empty field to their left the noticed a grouping of eggs.

Mercela stood in her thinking pose. She took a few steps to the left and Squritle followed right behind her. Squritle stopped when she stopped. Both focused on the eggs. She bend over moving on 4th egg slightly to the left and the 5th one slightly to the right.
"What do you thinK?" She smiled

"Squirt?? " Squritle responded looking at the five eggs. After a second squirtle ran to the bag pulling out a bow and wrapping it around the pink egg.
"Squirtle ??" It asked excitedly.

Mercela paused
"Hmmmmmmmm" She paced around the five eggs which she had given a new pretty paint job.

"Something is still not right." She said trying to figure out what it was missing.

"What!!!" She called out rushing over to her bag pulling out the gym badge she walked it over to the egg bending over. Gently putting the badge on the dark gray egg.
"Tada!!!!" She called out.

"It's beautiful!"

The eggs now resembled 5 of the seven gym leaders.

"How lovely!" She smiled


One of the eggs began to shake back and forth. Her eyes quickly caught onto the movement and she rushed over.
"Brock are you okay??" She gasped

The blouder badge fell off the grey egg.
"Oh no, oh no...not here.."

She said moving in close. As the egg began to break apart she was astounded to see a shell within the egg



The little yellow turtle like pokemon poked its head out. Then quickly back in. As she was moving in to check out Shuck she noticed Three of the other eggs shaking. Before she could do anything the little shuckle began to crawl away.

"Squritle watch the eggs!" She said rushing to pick up the little rock turtle.

She looked back and Squritle was having a hard time holding on to two bonsly and third had taken off.


"Bons?" It said running off at that same time the other two broke free and the fifth and final egg began to hatch.


"Wait!" She called out.



Meghan noticed the trainer jumping around.
"Lets go check this out." She said looking at the others. As they walked through the grass a Bonsly ran right into her legs. She picked up the little baby rock type.
"Not so fast little guy." She smiled.

Meghan walked up to the girl slowly and called to her to not scare her.
"Excuse me miss. Are you looking for this little guy?"
