After taking her time to look at her surroundings, she had spotted a group of paras right along the route. She had wanted to catch one knowing that the cerulean gym would be a tough match without one. "Alright Archie, this is it. We have to catch this paras or we won't be able to beat the gym" the squritle nodded as he took up his battle stance a few steps away, ready for a fight as he faced the paras with a determined look.

At his trainer's command Archie charged straight ahead, bashing into the bug with a tackle which sent it over flying a few meters away as it landed on the ground. Marcela then threw a pokeball which twitched from side to side for a bit and finally sounded off with a ping resulting in a successful capture.
