Having not much battle experience herself, seeing as they were surrounded by Rockets. Marcela was rather scared but seeing Brandon fight the way he did, had sparked in her a will to battle too. And hearing what the rockets state that she could run off if she wanted to but were going to take him and his pokemon as prisoners, she wasn't about to let that happen, considering how Brandon was the only one to really stay with her while everyone else had gone away. She felt she could trust him and had found a new friend in him and his pokemon. So she mustered up all her courage and stepped in beside him having a determined expression on her face.

"Alright...Archie, Sporez! Get ready to battle! We're not gonna let this one slide so easily, we need to protect our friends!"
