Brandon listened as JPO sadly explained the plan of action. He heard something about White rockets... Another group? F
Darn how many groups did team rocket have? He waited for JPO and Meghan to finish. Then spoke up "Yeah let's get out of here and find a pokemon center to heal our pokemon at.... We can't handle another possible round of that, our pokemon are too beat up. Best thing to do for now is keep moving" he looked at JPO as they got ready to go "If you find out where they are hiding him... Will you come and get us and let us know? I know I for one, wouldn't mind another round with those wanna-bes. This time though, we will be the one ambushing them." then he gathered up his stuff, took a long gulp of water and hopped on the back of a nearby bike.

Brandon just sat quietly listening to others try to make small talk on the way to Cerulean City, he just sat back qiuetly and enjoyed the ride. Once they arrived in Cerulean City, Brandon hopped off the bike and gave the biker who given him a ride a handshake and good bye. He thanked them for all their help. He heard someone talk about a pokemon center. He spoke "Yeah we need to get there ASAP, heal our pokemon, swap any out. If possible we should stop by a pokemart, refill our supply stocks". He stopped talking and unscrewed the cap of his canteen, he took a long drink from it and waited to see if the others would respond.

Alice asked how her egg had gone, he hoped it made it alright, he had wrapped it in a few very very soft sweaters in the center of his pack, along with his own egg, his pack hadn't been hit or touched during the tussle at all, he hoped it hadn't when the grunts threw them in the truck. He took off his pack and un zipped it, he took out the top items and then carefully pulled out the sweater, he unrolled it slowly, both eggs seemed to be alright, he held the sweater from underneath carefully, the eggs on top of it, he moved it gently toward Alice so she could take her egg. "It's the one on the left", he smiled, he was grateful it had been alright. "Got lucky, we also had a big fight back there, when we were defeated and captured we were thrown forcefully into a van, I couldn't move. Luckily it seems the pack didn't take any hits. I did all I could to ensure it safety though. Put it right with my own egg".

Alice had taken her egg and observed his was almost ready to hatch. Then she commented about it being a smart idea to have wrapped it , she also commented and apologized about being captured. He replied "Thanks I try... Yeah it wasn't too fun, but believe me when I say I didn't go quietly by any means. Skipper and the team faught like warriors, but we were sorrunded like 30 to 3, Marcela is pretty new to battling, so although she tried, I really had to do the brunt of the fighting, they fought really really well, took out atleast 4 grunts... There was just too many. Team Rocket is such a pathetic group, if they need so many people to take a few kids..." he sighed and walked over to Nurse Joy "Hello Nurse Joy, may you heal my pokemon?" he handed the pokeballs to Nurse Joy who gave a solemn expression "They are really beat up... It could be a couple hours" Brandon raised an eyebrow and gave a relucant sigh he said to Nurse Joy "Let me as soon as they are healthy" he couldn't imagine another raid without his team, they trained so hard together, they were best friends. He was thinking about this as the news channels were reporting on their battle... As usual making Team Rocket the good guys, he swore under his breath. Then a breaking news report came in showing the bikers being chased by police, Brandon disgusted, pounded his fists on the counter in frustation. Their only ally.. Out the window! Grrr! He couldn't wait for the day when they are pick a fight with the wrong group... This group, we are going to be stronger and we are going to kick their arses! This was not good. He couldn't risk being caught anywhere without a pokemon team, even if they are not strong, not now when things keep going from bad to worse. He walked towards the pc, he turned it on and deposited a couple of pokemon... Nidoran, Metapod and Mankey. While they were knocked out, they weren't any good for him, he would get them out as soon as they healed. He withdrew Paras and Zubat and Ekans. They would have to do for now.

As he began to walk away, his egg began to hatch.

The weedle hatched and then came out, he noticed the baby was a girl, she looked up at her new trainer curiously, letting out a soft "Wee... Weedle" and began to walk, crawl (like bug crawl not like baby crawling) away. Brandon reached down and picked the baby bug type up, he said to her "Welcome Miss. Weedle, it is pleasure to have you in our world and to have you on our team. He then took out a pokeball and put her in it. He needed to put one more pokemon in the pc. He put Pidgetto in the PC, this was definitelly a temporary move, he would switch them out when the team healed. The back up team wasn't much and needed work, but they were all he had.

He let each of them for the 1st time to meet their trainer. He let out Paras and Ekans 1st, the Paras looked up at Brandon curiously, then went up and rubbed his mushroom like head against his leg, the Ekans hissed, apparently still thinking it was in the encounter that he had been caught in, he stopped suddenly, looked around curiously and retracted his fangs. He seemed to nuteral upon discovering he had been captured and who his trainer was. Then he let out Zubat, the bat pokemon flew out screeching "ZUUUU ZUUBATTT!" then seemed to settle down and hovered in the air over his new trainer's ears, he seemed relaxed and accepting "Hey guys.... Look I know I am new to you and you are new to me, so let me start with a friendly introduction. My name is Brandon, I am trainer, I usually travel with a set team, really good pokemon that love me, love each other and I love them, would do whatever it took to defend me and each other. They are a little exhausted from an extremelly big fight, where we were ambushed, they faught hard, but there was just too many. They have to rest for a few hours. I was hoping you guys could accept me as a partner and trainer and travel alongside me until my team gets better... Try your hardest, you never know, you may end up with a spot on the main team if you get good enough." All the pokemon, including Ekans seemed to be touched by the speech and understood. They all seemed willing to travel alongside him. Even excited. It was going to be a long road ahead... They had some training to do.

After introductions with his new back up team, he decided to try gather intel as much as possibly, he looked around the pokemon center for someone to talk to, he noticed Marcela sitting quietly alone, she seemed sad, he started to walk to her, but before he got far Meghan went up to Marcela and began a conversation with her. He looked around and saw that Rocky was having a conversation with Rose, he notices a woman not in the group, she was sitting quietly in a chair watching the tv. He went up to her, sitting down next to her. He looked up at the tv as well and began saying to the woman "Some crazy stuff happening around here huh? So many criminals today. So glad Team Rocket is on the case. That Champion, can't believe he would do such a thing. What is your thoughts on this Miss?" he said this without taking his eyes off the tv.


*I know know.... I can hear it already 'You got to be quiet already! You'll get us caught' Well thats why Brandon worded it such that he agreed with what the tv was saying, he has different pokemon as well. Now this is a pokemon center, so I assume we are not the only ones there. The woman is just a random person I came up sith for the sake of story and intel gathering. Hope thats not against any rules Max, my character did everything possible to perform this as non 'reckless' as possible. I request politely that I dont get gmed and get this 1 oppurinity to demostrate my character's interest in information and gathering info.*

. Brandon heard a familar voice saying they explore and meet back at 9pm. Brandon looked up to see Meghan in the doorway. He thought exploring sounded fun, he said to Meghan "Good idea" he was about to walk outside when he noticed Marcela walking into the daycare building, he followed her quietly then waited for a break in the conversation. Then he said "Excuse me... Sorry to interuppt.... Marcella, I am getting ready to go explore... I was wondering if you wouldn't mind coming with me? Your pokemon seem to be good as new. My back up team is still getting used to me and I them as well. I would feel a little safer if you accompanied me until me and these guys" *points to his pokemon* "can get some practicd together.". He smiled at her and hoped she would agree to come along.

Brandon thanked Marcela saying "Thanks, now I can safely train my team here without having to worry" then he motioned with his hand for her to follow him and they re entered the pokemon center, once there they went out the door and stepped outside. It was a beatiful evening, there was still sunlight left, but it was fading. He thought they might have an hour or two at most, but probably not even that much. He looked around, he saw a few people milling around, Rocky seemed to be talking with someone, Alice and Meghan were talking about something as well. He was about to go see what was behind the pokemon center to begin the exploration, when he noticed the guy Rocky was talking to handing him a bunch of what looked like some kind of item. He fogured they should stick close by in case it turned out to be something important. He turned toward Marcela and said "What a beatiful night huh? Not too hot either, nice and cool." he gave her a smile then turned his attention to a bush with berries on it nearby. He walked up to "Oh cool! A Citrus Berry bush! We learned about these in the boy scouts! The berries off the bush can make a good sauce for a meal, or atleast something decent to drink if you crush a bunch of them up in a pot or cup".
