After Brandon said what he did, the mime in front of him seemed to begin to focus, then suddenly he felt a ton of energy in him, before he said 'mr mime', while that happened, skipper was still debating to himself whether he should attack the mime or not, when he saw the mime stop mimicking and start focusing, he looked up at his trainer and saw what was happening, he didn't attack the mime per say because he wasn't sure what was happening, so he simply put on his serious face and began to growl at the mime as well as blurting out 'CHARR CHARR MELEON' almost as if saying "I swear, if I find out your hurting him, I will kill you'.


When it was over, Brandon nodded and said "I see" , then he said "So you still haven't told who you are and how you have such a special Mime". He knew now that the Mime really was special though, he never felt anything like what just happened before. It was strong!

Brandon listened as the man told his story then told him there was some sort of black storm coming, that affect the whole and their pokemon. Then as he took the item handed to him, he made a slight bow to the man and said "Thank you sir for telling me your story and for your warning, thanks for traveling all the way out here to warn me and the group I am with, I really appericate it!" he gave him a gentle nod. He took the items the man gave him and stowed them in his pack for safe keeping.

He then turned to the mime "You take care of him now... You hear" he motioned to the man. The mime gave a nod and kept his hand gestures. Brandon turned once more to the man saying "You should feel blessed to have such a special partner to travel with you and fight for you, you take care now.... Guess I should be going, have to warn the others of this 'storm' and give them these items". At this he turned around and began walking in the direction he came from. He had to find the others, hopefully fast. As they began to walk away from the man, Brandon looked at Skipper and Skipper looked at him back, the pokemon seemed to have a worried look on face. Brandon said quietly to his pokemon "Yeah, I know Skipper, I have a bad feeling about this one too. We will be alright though, ok pal?" he was trying to reassure the pokemon as well as himself. After saying this Brandon looked up, a few away Rocky was standing looking at him. He approached Rocky hurriedly, as he got close he pulled one of the items the man had given him out of his pack, he handed it to Rocky and said "Here take this, we need to find Alice and them quick, I have something urgent I gotta tell everyone". With that, he gave the item to Rocky and then kept walking, trying to find Alice and hoping that Rocky was following him.

Brandon walked around for a bit looking for Alice, then decided it was impossible to do, he had even lost Rocky. He turned around and headed to the gym, where the 3 had been heading. He could only hope both trainers would be there waiting. He ran full speed through the crowd, bumping into people left and right. He finally slowed to a walk as he began notice the crowd was thinning. He should almost be at the gym. He kept walking, knowing he would break through the crowd any moment.

After another moment or so, Brandon broke through the crowd and was in front of the gym. He spotted Alice and was about to walk over to her to give her , her berry and then explain to her and Rocky what was about to happen. Before he could though, a young trainer came out with a Ratta. After this, Alice and Rocky began to head into the gym, Brandon followed close behind. Brandon wanted to say wait, I have to tell you both something important, but they were already inside the gym, their names were being called. As they approached Misty, Brandon decided to let Marshtomp and Parasect out of their pokeballs. What better pokemon to have out when talking to a water type gym leader then a water type and grass/bug type? Skipper of course, also stayed by his side, staying well on the path to avoid anything wet. They had now pretty much reached Misty and she had said "There you are, I had expected more of you, but I suppose this will have to do". Brandon put out his hand to Misty and said "Hello again Misty, pleasure to see you again." Brandon wanted to say more, but he didn't really know what they had come to see Misty about, so he just stopped there. He figured it would break the ice though.

Brandon listened as Alice asked if Misty could help them find Max's upgrade. Misty began a long explaination that pretty much said Max had set up computers that could keep in contact with Upgrade. She said if we wanted to find Upgrade, they needed to find the computer. Brandon thought for a second then asked "Where do find this computer Misty?". He hoped the answer didn't involve having to fight past another grunt army. Though that would be fun, he didn't think his pokemon wanted another brawl just yet.

As Brandon stood there, listening, he heard mention of Hoeen and Rocky seemed enthaustic about it all. He began to hope they wouldnt have to go all the way to Hoeen to find this computer. Luckily, Misty spoke up and said they wouldnt need to go to Hoenn, Max's secret base was just north of here. She said it wad a long time ago and it may not be on operation any longer. Alice said they were going that way anyway, which he supposed was true. He broke in saying "Whether it works or not, we are going to have to go up there, its the only possibilty of finding upgrade and helping Max. Even if the computer doesnt work, surelly there must be something there that is surelly still in operational condition". Brandon knew they had to go up there and he was confident there would be something that worked there.

As Brandon contiued to listen and watch, Misty programmed Alice's poketech with the location of the secret base, then Misty handed each of them a badge and scarf.

As Brandon took his and thanked Misty, Meghan and Rise came into the gym and came up to then. Where.Meghan began to converse with Misty. Brandon tightened the shoulder straps of his backpack, he was ready to go as soon as the others were. As soon as they left the gym, Brandon would have to have everybody hold up so he could he could give out the rest of the berries, then explain what the man with mime had said
