Rose handed out the pokeballs. She had no idea what was in them, but She thought it would be something to help with this danger that was coming to Cerulean. While you could argue that they were, she had been hoping for something a bit more helpful than some basic Pokemon. Meghan came to try and question her on what was happening when the security system suddenly began to talk. It did most of Rose's explaining for her. "Your friend here has psychic abilities from what the computer is reading. Her energy waves are similar to Max's."

"I... I heard his voice." Rose said. "He told me..." Rose paused for a moment, shuddering slightly at his last words. "H-he told me that Cerulean was in danger." She finished, calming down, but still slightly shaky. The Alakazam mentioned a dark energy, and Rose shivered. "What do you mean by dark energy?"

"A darkness is coming." The Slowking's words echoed in her mind. Was this the darkness that it had tried to warn her about? What would they face when they made it back to town? Was the danger yet to begin, or were they already running out of time?
