"Th-thank you." Rose said to Alice, her tears slowing slightly. Amirah let out a chime next to her, trying to calm her down a bit. Meg began yelling that the creature couldn't have been Max, and Rose began to get visibly upset again. "You... You didn't see what we saw." She said, tears flowing down her cheeks. "I... We were able to get into its mind. It was him." Meghan said that the Alakazam had been turned into a shadow, and this made Rose even more upset. If it could turn even it into a shadow, what was to stop it from just turning all of their teams into shadows and sending them against each other? The more she thought about it, the more hopeless their situation seemed.
