Brandon listened as the boy, who introduced himself as Ty, explained why he had been following him. After the boy finished Brandon said "Well Ty, I suppose there is nothing wrong with trying to find some adventure, but you should be careful following people, I am one who will give you chance to explain yourself before losing my cool, not everyone is like me though and you should be very careful, wouldn't want to see you get hurt", after he finished he smiled at Ty and then inquired "So Ty, are you staying around here? Where are your parents? Do they know where you are? Did you tell them what were going to do? They might be worried sick, if you want, I will help you get back to your folks." Brandon kept smiling and looked at the boy kindly, he really wanted to get the boy back to where he belonged, last thing he needed was for the boy's family to call the police to look for him and then find Brandon with him. That would disastrous and Brandon couldn't risk that.

The boy had just finished explaining he was on vacation when Meghan sent Brandon a message asking if he had a boy named Ty with him, he responded with yes and then added they were on their way back. Following the exchange from Meghan, Brandon looked up from his poketch and looked at the boy saying "Ok, come on Ty, look like we are headed for the pokemon center". Then with this he started walking with Ty towards the pokemon center, keeping an eye on him all the time. After a few minutes of walking, they were back on the main path and Brandon could see the red pokemon center in the distance. A couple minutes more of walking and Brandon, with Ty close by his side, walked into the pokemon center.

Brandon listened calmly and quietly as Meghan, Alice and Rocky told the group about how the computers could track their poketchs, ruining any chance of successfully getting in a city in Kanto again, but that they had 2 days before they would be set up and that Brock had called and that he knew a contact that could. Rocky told the group he had a source that told him there were bounty hunters that were designed to take them down. Shortly after this Meghan launched into a long, somewhat depressing speech about how since the beginning of their journey they have gone through nothing but hell (well it was necessarily said like that, but in essence that what it was about) and that they had two options. 1 option was to go after the device, upgrade or go to Lavender town to meet up with Brock's contact and clear their names. Brandon knew that the situation they were in was very serious, however, being someone who liked to be as positive as possible, knew things would get better, at some point and that their journey would not be this difficult forever, unlike what Meghan was making it sound like.

Brandon though about for a minute or two, he thought the best, smart idea was to go to Lavender town and clear their names while they still had the chance. If the group wanted to go after the device, then Brandon had no problem with coming along, he was not scared of any bounty hunters, no matter how strong or tough they might be. Brandon's pokemon had grown a strong friendship and trust to their trainer and would be willing to fight until the end to defend their trainer if need be. They have done it before, they would do it again in a heartbeat. If those bounty hunters try to catch them, they better come with several teams of mighty good pokemon, because Brandon would not be going down without a fight and they would need a couple teams of good pokemon if they intended to get past Brandon's iron willed pokemon. If the majority of the group wanted to go after the device, then Brandon would go right along with them, whatever would happen, would happen and Brandon would deal with the situation as it came. Brandon did think the best, wise move was to head to Lavender town and clear their names though. So far Alice and Rocky seemed to be leaning towards Lavender town, which he thought was smart of them. Brandon now spoke up to give his opinion "Guys, first off I want to say, I know we have been through alot, we have been through hell then probably any other group of trainers just starting out. I know it seems like things will never work out and that it is probably only a matter of time before we are caught, however, I want you all to know, that I believe very strongly every situation, no matter how dark, gets better eventually. I want you all to know that, no matter which option we choose today, there will be an end to this hell, one day, even if it is a long time from now, we will stumble upon a light in the tunnel and that light will lead us out of this hell of situation. No matter what choice we choose today, we will be able to continue to live our life, train our pokemon, grow and overcome our challenges. Life does not stop because some stupid, corrupt evil group is running the country, nothing can stop us from living our lives, so long as we are still alive and breathing. Let us all remain positive, even during this dark time and make it through this. With that said, I believe going to Lavender city to meet Brock's contact is the smartest idea, let's get our names cleared so that it will be easier for us to kick those stupid, corrupt, crooks known as Team Rocket out of power and stop that shadow creature while we are at it. My vote goes to Lavender town, however, if the majority of the group wants to go after the device, then I will be more then willing to come along. The only way we will make it through this, is if we work as a team and be smart. I am more willing to help go after that device if that is what the group wants to do. Just remember though, that I did and still do say that Lavender town is the smartest and best option for us, in my opinion."

Brandon had not planned to say that much, but it just seemed to spill out naturally and he hoped his speech would boost the moral of the group, even if its just a little bit. Brandon hoped deep down that the group would choose Lavender town, but in the end, whatever the group decided, Brandon was fully ready and prepared to go along with them. Brandon also hoped they pass a clothing store on their way out of town, because he thought it would be to buy a set of new clothes if possible.

Brandon listened as Meghan agreed that they should go along to Lavender town and clear their names, but was then shocked that Meghan said she was going to split up from the group and go after the device on her own. This concerned Brandon gravelly, that sounded like a mission that would be difficult for a whole team to accomplish, let alone a 1 person team. It sounded like a sucide mission to do it by ones self. Brandon shook his head slightly, then he looked at Meghan and said "Meghan, you shouldn't go out there alone, it is too dangerous, even if you managed to sneak past every check point, how are you going to retrieve the device? It is bound to be heavily guarded, who knows who... Or what might guarding it. If you had your main team with you I would say you might be ok, but right now you are working off of a back up team that is far less strong and much less experienced. It is simply not safe to try and do such a mission by yourself. It seems like a sucide mission to me. I am not and can not stop you from going, however, I believe if you are going to go, you shouldn't go alone. If you want, I will go with you. My primary team was much less injuried and I have still got quite a few battle experienced pokemon with me, they are strong and can handle a fight. If you want me to, I will go with you and aid you on your mission. I still believe we should ALL go to lavender town, but I just can't feel comfortable with you doing this yourself. If you won't come with us and don't want to do it alone and you want help, just say the word and I will help you with your mission."

Brandon really really wanted to go to Lavender town, he thought going after the device seemed like a REALLY bad and dangerous idea, but he just couldn't stand to see Meg go on this highly dangerous mission without atleast offering his assistance.

Rose also voiced her concern for Meghan's wanting to go alone. Meghan quickly spoke up saying that she couldn't let us go with her but that she wanted Brandon to go along Rocky, Alice and Rose as headed to Lavender town, she said that if they ran into any trouble they would need back up. She also said that his quicky thinking skills could also come in handy to get them out of a jam if nessecary.

Brandon sighed and said to Meghan "Ok, if that is what you want to do, then do it, but do promise me you will be very careful and not get yourself into any situation you can't get out of".

Brandon never got an answer to this because at this moment the group began to head towards the pokemon center. Brandon followed, walking slowly. He was somewhat relieved that Meghan had declined his offer because Lavender town did seem the way to go. Brandon also hoped they would be able to stop by a clothes store so he could buy himself a disguise.

Brandon listened to everyone speak and make their plans. When Rocky spoke of his being shopping and then intel gathering about Surge, Brandon's head perked up and he asked Rocky "Rocky, would you mind if I came with you to go shopping? I need to get a new outfit before we leave Vermillion City. I am also a fan of intel gathering and am also quite good at it. I can probably help you find the right people to ask about Surge".

Brandon hoped Rocky would allow him to come along, as doing so would allow him to kill 2 birds with 1 stone.

Rocky allowed Brandon to go shopping and intel gathering with him. They set out and soon ended up in sort of pokemart, Brandon noticed a clothes rack and went over to sift through the clothes, he noticed a dark green t-shirt and a black hoodie on the rack, he pulled them off, next he found a pair of black sweat pants on the rack and he pulled those off as well. As Brandon headed to the register to pay, he also noticed some fake tattoos hanging in a special display mount on the wall. Brandon took 4 of them and then made his way over to the register to pay. As he paid for the items, he asked the cashier "Have you ever battled Surge? I heard ground types may be the way to go for his gym." , the cashier chuckled as he counted the money and handed Brandon his change, the cashier then replied with "yes sir, ground types are most effective against Lt. Surge alright, but Mr. Surge is very smart and made a house rule that makes it so you can only have two of them, smart guy that Lt. Surge is" with that the cashier stopped talking and headed into the backroom. Brandon found the bathroom and changed into his new clothes. He also got a wet paper towel and put on 2 of the fake tattoos. Then he put the other 2 fake tattoos into his bag for future use. He also put his old clothes in a mailout bag and put them in his pack for the time being, his plan was to mail his old clothes out to his Mom in Sinnoh for safekeeping until this whole ordeal was over. Brandon then met up with Rocky outside, he had only just reached him when both of their poketchs went off and Meg said something about their healed pokemon not getting here in foreseeable future. Directly following the message Rocky muttered "What the..." and began to run full speed towards the pokemon center, Brandon ran full speed to try keep up with him, luckily Rocky's big size made his top speed just slow enough for Brandon to keep him in sight. Soon they both entered the pokemon center to find out what was going on. After he entered, Brando n stopped to catch his breath and then try to find out what was going on.
