The fading sea breeze on route 11 reminded Alice of home. She thought about her parents. She hadn't been able to speak to them since she had come to Kanto, but she knew they wouldn't be worried. They'd be so busy with their research, they probably wouldn't even realise how long she had been away. The thought made Alice relieved and sad at the same time. It might be nice to be missed, sometimes. After a bit of walking through open fields, it was time to enter the tall grass.

They seemed to have startled a group of Rattata. Alice sent out Fervor to try out her new skills.
