The guards got up to stop the group but when they noticed them tracking mud they immediately got annoyed.
" What are you kids doing ? We just cleaned the floors."
The second guard up to stop them but angry one just yelled at them
"No no pass through already and dont come back with dirty shoes again!"
The team had lucked out by passing through the muddy forest. (Easy plot hole from your choice to go into the mud or just an easy GM fix to not slow the story down....the wold may never know!)
Route 12!
(Take that pokemon game guides! We have defied game laws and now we rule the world...Im energetic this morning.)
The police check point had separated the very long valley path of route 11 and the coastal bridge of route 12. The team was way ahead of schedule and now on the fastest route possible. For the next six hours they walked along the coastal bridge. They didnt really stop to battle or catch pokemon. There mission was to get through 12 and 13 and hopefully be near Lavander Town.
Which was all going as planned (Cough Cough, evil grind. I dont know about you but this gm finds it odd that there has been no other mention in his very brief description of the earthquake. )
Each of the team members was taking in the area in different ways. Some saw it as a very long walk. Others as a chance to breath and taken in the awesome summer day. However something seemed to be missing from this beautiful backdrop. Where was the damage from the Earthquake? had it only effected just route 11? It wouldnt be for another 20 minutes until they finally hit a dead end. A small group of trainers had gathered in front of them. Right ahead of them police tap. When the team got close enough to see they noticed the bridge had been broke clean in half. The drop off from the bridge was over 20 feet. Sleeping safely in the wreckage was a massive pokemon.
Two police officers stood on both sides scratching there head while a third direct trainers
"You must turn back!"
This bridge had been over 20 feet high and had not connected with the main land for a while. The team found themselves now having to make a very tough choice.
Would the team try and figure out a way around? Or would they head back for a different route to Lavander?
