Brandon cracked it as Rocky tried to explain the danger of these Drowzee taking over people's minds. The trainer didn't seem to remember anything about when the Drowzee had controlled him. Or perhaps he was just embarassed and trying to cover up for when he was under their control. Either way the Drowzee had obviously left some sort of psychological scar on the other trainer. The level of aggression that was erupting from the trainer was a clear sign of something not quite right in his mind.

Rocky decided that in order to preserve the peace, he would pretend to play along, and pretend that Brandon hadn't been mind controlled after all... Even though deep down he knew that it had happened!

"Very well my good sir, I am willing to go forward accommodating to the belief that you were not indeed mind controlled by those Drowzee. Now shall we see to helping this poor girl retrieve her Pokemon, and hopefully save that poor old gentleman who seems to have fallen under their spell again?"

A weird darkness descended around the area and Rocky looked around to see that Detective mills had let out a large ghost Pokemon who was sending a deeping haze to cover the area.

There was something oppressive about the haze, and Rocky did not like it.

"Is the haze really necessary?" He asked. "Most of us had no problem with the Psychic types last time." he deliberately did not look at Brandon when he said 'most of us'.
