As they were walking, Alice came and asked her if she had heard from Meghan. Rose shook her head. "I haven't." She said quietly, trying not to alert the detective. Trying not to trip over anything, Rose lagged behind slightly, but she was able to mostly keep up with the group.

Finally they found the guru. Rose couldn't clearly sense what was happening from where she was, but she could sense quick movement, and suddenly the Guru was yelling. Rose began approaching, but suddenly she felt herself flying forward as her foot got hooked on a tree root she hadn't noticed. She reached out to her left trying to catch herself on a branch, but she misjudged the distance, and her fingertips brushed it as she fell past it and hit the ground. "I'm... I'm okay." She said, standing back up. She scraped her arm, but aside from that she was okay.

As the haze started fading, Rose could clearly tell that this was the same guru from earlier. Rose approached the drowzee. "I'm... I'm sorry." Rose said to them, but it didn't seem to matter to them. Rose felt horrible for having attacked them the day before when they really did only want to help. Her apology meant nothing to them.
