Kyo didn't hear Meaghan wake up initially, not until she started screaming names. Kyo only recognized Rose's name but that wasn't her main concern. Kyo stood up from where she was laying a little ways away and walked over to Meaghan once the girl calmed down and sat down.

"Good to see you awake," she said, "I was worried. Your gligar was freaking out because you passed out or something. I tried to carry you but I didn't get very far before your Arbok took over for me. I wasn't in any condition to carry you anyway. All my strength was pretty much sapped after the fight with uh… Dredd, I believe he was called. Either way, we made it out and your Gligar led us here to set up camp for the night. I've been keeping watch for a while, can't sleep with all that happened despite how exhausted I feel."
