Rocky woke to various aches and pains. He groaned as he rolled over to see what time it was. He ad slept in until 10 am, that was unlike him. Why was he so tired? The events of the night before hit him like a runaway truck.

He reached down to his belt. Only 3 Pokeballs. He opened them. Pokeball one was Speedy, who ran around searching for food. Pokeball two released Deino who sat where she was released sniffing at the air. Pokeball 3 released the Tentacool that Rocky had caught. It flopped around on te floor, a mass of blue and red jelly with flailing tentacles. Rocky returned it to its ball quickly.

He wanted to study this Tentacool that Dredd had been controlling to see if there was any lingering shadow infection it but that could wait. He turned to call his other Pokemon back. Deino was sitting on the floor alone, and Speedy was nowhere to be seen.

"Deino, Return. Speedy where are you?" he called out.

Speedy ran back to the cell with his cheeks bulging and crumbs covering his lips. "RurTrrtrr!" Speedy said.

"I see you found the Police station's food supply. I hope you left some for the rest of us!" Rocky said smiling at the felonious little Rattata.

"Speedy swallowed. "Rattata, Rata rata rat rat tata!" He said excitedly as he climbed up to sit on Rocky's shoulder.

Rocky went to the other trainers to make sure that they were uninjured. They were sleeping, so Rocky waited quietly until they woke. They would need their sleep. They had to find Meg, and explain to the Police what had happened on the ship.
