The attacks didn't go as planned. They had managed to knock out two of the grunts, but the girl had run off , presumably to warn Surge. One of the grunts was still pinned under the machine. Alice revealed herself, returning the sleeping Almond to her Pokeball.

"I guess this is it," Alice said to the others. "Surge will probably be here soon. We either run or we go in and try and find Meg."

Alice looked at the grunt pinned under the machine. "Help me!" He called out.

Alice grabbed two Pokeballs from her pocket and sent out Aster and Fervor.

"Saur!" Aster grinned, stretching, happy to be outside again. Fervor punched the air a few times, looking around for the fight. Alice smiled at them both.

"Can you lift that machine enough to free that man?" Alice asked.

"Ivy saur!" Aster replied determinedly. He reached out his vines, wrapping them around the machine and began to tug it upwards. Meanwhile, Fervor used all of her strength to try to lift the machine with her arms.

Paprika stood by Alice's side, cheeks sparking. "I'll help you, but if you try anything funny, Paprika will be ready to Thunderwave you," she warned.
