Brandon had to go with Alice, even though he VERY MUCH wanted to go and kick Surge's a**, he had to go ~~because a confused gm forced him to~~ because he couldnt let Alice go alone.

They went into a building and started searching it, Alice went upstairs and the other trainer and himself searched the bottom floor of the building. Brandon and his pokemon searched room after room, after a few minutes, they had cleared the bottom floor and were preparing to wrap up, when suddenly a strange and very strong sensation came over him, he seemed to be being mind controlled again! Brandon immediatelly began to try and fight it off, but it was too strong. Next to him, his pokemon looked around for any sign of a threat, when they finally spotted the hypno and began kicking into action against it, it began controlling them too. Brandon had now been completely overcome by the Hypnos power, but he still kept trying to put up stiff resistance, as he looked at Skipper, he could see the Charmeleon trying to fight off the forces at be as well. Soon they were forced to climb up the stairs and saw a man standing with Alice, she seemed kinda frozen as well. Soon their pokemon was forced inside their pokeballs. One thing led to another and before they knew it, there was 2 bets made, one about whether the group would let Surge go, the second who would win a fight, him or the other trainer here. To Brandon's astonishment, Alice was right and Surge was let go, she won that bet, but then Brandon was made to fight the other trainer with them, the other trainer let off the first punch, then Brandon's anger kicked in and he began punching and kicking the other trainer violently. Soon he realized for sure the other trainer wasnt trying to hurt him and he could also feel the grip on him from the hypno fading, he returned his focus entirely on breaking out of it, a few moments later he accomplished it and looked around for the man in question, he pulled out his pocket knife, ready to use it if he was attacked by the man. The was gone, however and Brandon put the pocket knife away. It appeared Alice's starter Aster had been taken again, though. Alice started talking all depressed and Brandon knew she would go after the man, just like Brandon would if it was his pokemon. He knew he would help Alice recover Aster as well, he was going to speak up and cheer Alice up, when he noticed something out the window, he walked over to it and watched in horror as he saw flashes of electricity bouncing around in the distance. The group must be in trouble! Alice asked if they would help her, Brandon immediatelly replied, as he let out all his pokemon in a hurry "Alice, I would love to, but it seems the group is in big trouble, there seems to be some of activity and electricity bouncing around over by where they were, we need to get there, FAST! Afterwards, I will help you save Aster." As he spoke, he let out his pokemon and pointed out the window towards the electricity so that Alice and the other trainer could see. Once all of Brandon's pokemon were out, he quickly showed what was happening to his pokemon, then told them to follow him. He quickly said to Alice and the other trainer "I am going to help the others, either come and help, or stay here, as soon as the group is safe, I will come back to help you find Aster", when he finished, he quickly turned and ran downstairs and outside as quikcly as he could, once outaide, he ran full speed towards the electricity, next to him and behind him, his pokemon tried to keep up with him.

Brandon raced full speed towards the scene, hoping he wouldnt be too late to save the group from whatever was happening.

Rose sent in her flyer but they were quickly KO'd when they reached the center. The blast again caused the climbing trainer to jump back. Kiara finally reached Meghan and with the help of her pokemon was able to safely pull her into the tree to take a break. When it seemed like the team couldnt stop this electro field to help Meghans pokemon. A Charizard appeared in the sky and dove down. Reese jumped off with Pikachu on his shoulder.
"Pika!" It growled

Reese looked at the field
" Well thats new...Surge is getting a little bit smarter huh." He joked

With a cocky grin he folded his arms.
" Nothing we havent done before right Pikachu?"

Pikachu planted its feet and nodded.

Reese paused as he realized he might need to be serious.

" Alright shift!" He said calling out the odd Eevee.

" Lets go with your Jolt form and lets first take out the machines and clear room for Snorlax!"

Eevee nodded taking off running

as he moved forward the team watched the very special pokemon do something they had never heard of before. The pokemon jumped into the air and transformed into Jolteon.

Jolteon had no problems with the electricity.

With machines energy and being drawn toward Jolteon it was able to charge itself and let out a powerfull pin missle. Snorlax than ran in across the field towards the cages. The big pokemon was unusually fast for its size and ran acrross the weak lady. It was able to move the cages free before the dirt finally collapsed. After the dust had settled all the pokemon underground were fine. Reese sent Charizard up to bring Meghan down with Kiara. The team now stood just outside of the huge hole in the ground. Meghans pokemon were sent free and called back.

Meghan thanked Kiara and smiled weakly at the team.
"Thanks" she said leaning against a tree. Her legs were shaky

Shift run back over to Reese who called back Snorlax. The Jolteon let out a grin before finally transforming back into Eevee.

"Good work..now lets go find Surge!" Reese said climbing on Charizard.

Eevee jumped on with Pikachu.

"Guys Im going to go after Surge. I need to at least slow him down and make sure the cops can get here in time. Rocky has my number." He smiled quickly exchanging contact info with Rocky and taking off.

"Heal up before you go after Surge. That house has a transfer Machine and a healing machine!" He called out. before flying into the tree.

Meghan nodded.
" Yes...first heal..then battle." She said

" Kyo can you..." She asked for a little help walking.

Brandon got there just as Reeese was flying off. He could see the big hole in the ground.

Stacy looked at the others.
" Is it safe for him to go alone?" She questioned looking back. After that she walked over to check on Meghan who a little exhausted.

TY looked at the whole.
"I need a snorlax!" He laughed

"Anyone know where we can find one."

When the team finally reached the house Meghan sat down. Brandon had been in the house and checked out a few rooms that he hadnt checked. To his luck he was able to find the room with the transfer machine and the healing machine. Team now had a chance to exchange pokemon and prepare the next round. Meghan healed her pokemon. After that she made some changes. Her team had been through hell in the last day even with being healed they needed more time.

Reese showed up and deactivated the trap using his eevee, who seemed to have the ability to evolve into Jolteon and back. That was a cool Pokemon.

Reese said that the building had a healing machine inside so Rocky headed back there to heal Speedy, while Reese headed forward to chase down Surge.

Brandon passed him on the way, running out to see what had happened with the trap and the tree.

Rocky used the healing machine to re-energise Speedy, who ran around in circles chattering before climbing up rest on Rocky's shoulder.

In another room he ran into Alice who looked very upset. Plume and Paprika were doing their best to comfort her.

"Alice, it's alright!" Rocky said. "We found and rescued Meg. She is going to be OK. Is anything else wrong?"

Brandon seemed to see something happening out the window. He was determined to go and help. Alice was glad. She couldn't bring herself to go right now. "Afterwards, I will help you save Aster." Brandon said.

"Thank you so much," Alice replied, smiling weakly. "I appreciate it more than you know."

After Brandon left, Alice tried to pull herself together. She had to go and find Aster as soon as Brandon returned.

After a short while, Rocky appeared in the doorway. Alice was glad to see him. At least the group was reunited for now.

"Alice, it's alright!" Rocky said. "We found and rescued Meg. She is going to be OK. Is anything else wrong?"

"I'm so glad Meg's alright," Alice replied. She felt guilty about not going to rescue Meg, but she had never doubted her friends would succeed without her help.

"I came here looking for our stolen Pokemon... but do you remember that PI I told you about? He was here... and he took control of us with his Hypno and took my Pokemon and made me bet whether Surge would escape..." Alice shuddered.

"But even when I was right, he wouldn't let us go. He tried to make Brandon and Paul fight each other but they broke free... and... and the PI escaped with Aster again," Alice sobbed. "I don't.... don't know where he's gone. Oh, how will I ever find Aster now? All he left behind were some papers which make no sense!"

She pulled the documents out of her bag and held them out to Rocky. "I'm so scared for our Pokemon, Rocky. There are horrible pictures in there of Pokemon in cages. What if it's all related to Surge somehow? We have to find them as soon as possible!"

Rocky looked through the papers and pictures that Alice showed him. He was horrified by what he saw. It seemed that this PI and possibly Surge were involved in some sort of Pokemon Cage matches. That didn't even make sense why would people need this, Pokemon battles were a regular part of life what could Surge possibly be offering that was more intense than ...

Rocky gasped as a thought hit him. "People would pay extra for a more brutal and extreme battle. He looked again at the cages. Then at the betting results. Could there be a brutal Pokemon cage-match tournament happening in Kanto. The thought of Rusty being forced to battle in cages was more than he could handle. This was evil stuff! On the other hand Fury was probably having the time of his life... No! this had to be stopped.

"We need to show this to the others, Alice. They need to know what is going on! We need to track down this PI and get some answers from him! And get Aster back. What kind of jerk steals someone's Pokemon!"

"Where was this PI? Perhaps he left a trail that our Pokemon can follow! None of my Pokemon know odor sleuth, but maybe Vulpix can follow his scent. It's worth a try!"

Alice felt sick when Rocky mentioned the cage matches. She knew that was what she had seen, but she hadn't wanted to even think about it.

"We need to show this to the others, Alice. They need to know what is going on! We need to track down this PI and get some answers from him! And get Aster back. What kind of jerk steals someone's Pokemon!" Rocky said animatedly.

Alice took a deep breath. It was nice to have the others here to help. She felt much better about finding Aster now. It wasn't so scary as trying to do it on her own. "You're right," Alice replied finally. "Let's go find the others. We should go as soon as possible." Alice scooped up both Paprika and Plume, who cried out happily, glad to see their trainer feeling better.

"Where was this PI? Perhaps he left a trail that our Pokemon can follow! None of my Pokemon know odor sleuth, but maybe Vulpix can follow his scent. It's worth a try!" Rocky replied.

"Great idea! The PI stood at the window and also around near the blackboard. He rushed off into the forest afterward. But he had a lot of stuff here. I think he had been here for a while, so hopefully his scent is still around. Wait a second..." Alice reached into her bag and pulled out Almond's Pokeball. She released the Furret. "Almond should be able to use Odor Sleuth," Alice said unsurely. She had never tried it before, but it seemed pretty straight forward.

"Almond, can you try to find the scent of the PI who was here earlier? We need to follow his trail."

Alice smiled for the first time in a while. She felt hopeful that she would get Aster back soon, especially with the help of her friends. "Alright, let's go explain to the others," Alice said. "I'll leave Almond here to sniff around for a bit."

Meghan sat down for a little while on couch in the living room of the building. Stacy, Ty and Brandon seemed to be distracted by the beautiful mansion while Kiara stayed outside eating and checking in on her pokemon. Meghan slowly drank a cup of water looking over at Kyo who was the only one in the room.

"Thanks."

" You have been a very loyal friend.. You have saved my butt more than I have saved yours now." She smiled faintly

" I cant believe Im in debut to a rocket." She laughed

Meghan paused
" I had to ...Im not stupid but I had too. Kiara out there is faster but she is less experinced battling. Kyo...the machine he had he was getting ready to use it." She growled

"I didnt go down without a fight though. I know that doesnt make it any better. I wasnt trying to be rash though. I just thought about what might happen if it was a bomb or something. You guys are to important to me to let someone pyscho hurt." Meghan said leaning back

Rose watched as her plan failed, resulting in both of her flying types being knocked out. She called them back to their pokeballs. Suddenly Reese showed up and released Shift, the odd eevee that he had shown them earlier. She wasn't even sure what was happening at first, but to her amazement she watched the eevee transform into a Jolteon, rescue the Pokemon, then transform back. Reese told them that there was a healing machine in the building, so everyone headed there.

Rose remained mostly silent as she thought about what had just happened. Again she had made the wrong call. Her plan to get Meghan's Pokemon clear had totally failed. She knew it wasn't her fault, as no one else in the group had any better ideas to save Meghan's Pokemon, but if Reese wasn't there, they never would have saved them. "I'm so happy you're okay." Rose said to Meghan as they headed into the building. She wanted to scold her for being so reckless, but couldn't bring herself to do so. Rose healed her Pokemon, but didn't swap anything out.

Alice explained the situation to them. Rose couldn't read the documents herself, but she got an idea of what was happening from what others were saying.

a moment after pidgeotto and butterfree left so ran brandon away and told paul and alice that he was going to help the others and a couple of minutes after so came rocky
and told them that they successfully rescued megan. then alice showed rocky and paul horrifying pictures of cage pokemon paul was discusted disgusted and hoped
that alices pokemon, butterfree and pidgeotto were okay. then rocky saide

alices sent out her furret and it started so sniff around the area looking for the PI

"that is a good idea but i dont have a pokemon with a very good sense of smell with me but my butterfree and pidgeotto are currently flying around the island looking for the PI"

paul took a short pause. he knew that his pokemon could handle them selves but he was still worried after seeing those horrible pictures

"i hope they are safe"

Alice sent out a pokemon to help pick up the trail after that she walked in the main living area. There the trainer started to gather. Alice explained that a trainer named PI had made Paul and Brandon fight and that he had stolen one of her pokemon.

Meghan listened carefully.
" Getting your pokemon back is important. Getting all of our pokemon back is important. Its clear that this PI guy has something to do with Surge."

Meghan paused

"we cant all go after this guy. There is more going on here than our pokemon. Surge is producing a weapon that can not get off this island. We have made far to many emotional decisions..I am guilty of this more than anyone else. So I have idea. Ill take Kyo and Kiara with me and track down this guy.

Meghan looked at Paul.
"Sorry we havent met yet. Im Meghan and this is Kiara." She said introducing her to the others.

" Rocky you Alice, Brandon, Rose and the new guy can head after Surge. We can meet up after."
(This is for the gym badge! So lets try not to throw this! lol)

Meghan walked up to Alice.
" We will find your pokemon but please dont run off on your own. This PI seems like he is expecting you to show up. He wont be expecting me." She said looking at Alice.

"Kyo you cool with coming with me?" Meghan asked

She looked at Kiara
"I know you are.." She joked.

" You probably want to go already."
