Rocky listened to the description of the sick aggressive Pokemon and the creepy dead-eyed trainer with them.

He gestured to the others.

"Did you all hear that. That sounds like shadow Pokemon again. We need to let the authorities know what they are dealing with. No-one should tackle one of those shadow Pokemon without knowing what they are getting into. Could that dead-eyed trainer be Dread?"

No one answered Brandon's question, it appeared no one wanted to do anything in particular. Brandon shrugged and went exploring around the ship. A short time later (or atleast it seemed short), the ferry arrived at one island, alot sooner then Brandon had expected. They dis embarked and began walking through One Island. They didn't get far before they overheard a group of trainers talking about sick pokemon and a creepy man with dead eyes. Brandon's mind immediatelly went back to the very VERY real 'dream' he had on the ship with the zombie/dark powers controlled waiters that had attacked him. A slight chill ran down his spine at thought of more of those, those things just didnt stop, no matter how much you injuries them, it didn't phase them. If Brandon had to face them, this time he was just going to stab them in the head to kill once and for all. Brandon snapped back to reality when Rocky spoke up at the mention of shadow pokemon and Max.

Brandon sighed, it seemed wherever they went, whatever they did, this stupid evil creature using Max Dredd's body followed them. The thought made Brandon angry, not only at the creature, but at that terrible, sick organization Team Rocket as well. Brandon would end Team Rocket, he vowed on it. If he could find a way to 'kill' Dredd, he would do it first chance he got. Brandon took a deep breath to clear his mind again and calm down, he needed to focus on right now, right this moment. Whatever happened in a few minutes, hours, days, weeks, months and years he would deal with when the time came. Brandon spoke up and said "If it is Max, then we are already too late to see this stone and to try and save it. I think we should stop and strategize and form a plan before we proceed any further into this island. Who knows if Max is still here or what shadow pokemon or traps he has let loose around this island. If we proceed, we need to have a plan and be ready for anything. Personally, I think we should send a message to Reese immediatelly and ask him to come here as soon as possible and if possible, to bring as much reinforcements as possible. He has strong pokemon and knows what he is doing, if there is anyone on our side who has the best chance at facing Max directly, it is him. We will need all the help we can if we go after him or encounter him, even with Reese and some reinforcements it may bot be enough to stop him. I do not what most of you want to do, but as of now we can still get out of here and off this island before all hell breaks loose and we will be safe, or we can go after Max and try to stop him. Obviously the smartest choice would to get out of here right now, but I understand if the majority want to go after Max and try to stop him and I will back either decision. If we go after Max though, I feel like we definitelly will need help and will need all the trainers and powerful trainers we can get and we also will need not only a plan, but also a back up plan and an escape plan so we can get out of danger if the situation becomes too dangerous and we need to escape. Whatever we decide to do, I am all for it. Let's just make sure we think everything through and dont put ourselves in a situation we cant get out of. What do you all think?". Brandon then stopped talking and looked around at the group, waiting for their feedback and decision.

it was time to take of. Paul and the others climbed in to Rees van
after a while so where they at the ferry. Rees was going to stay on gem

the group explored the ferry with had a battling area. Paul could not see with pokemon where battling until a shellder flew through the air.
then Paul saw a woman with a pokemon he had never seen before. he thought it was very cute and he pointed his pokedex at it

Ty talked to the swimmer for a bit then the Poppilo walked over to him and bumped paul playfully. paul petted it a tiny bit before it walked back to its trainer

Then it was time to leve the ferry and heed to one island when they were on their way to the museum so over heard paul and most of the others a conversation

" Man that was weird huh.."

" Yeah man...that guy was creepy."

"Where did all of the Noctowls even come from?"

paul desided to let Rocky do the talking and just kept quiet.

The two spooked trainers took off after answering Rockies question.

"Agreed and yeah its sounding a lot like it." She said starting up her Poketech Gear.

However the signal seemed to be to weak to send anything out. Meghan looked and noticed the storm cloud getting closer and closer.

" Looks like will need to just get to a land line. There should be one at nearest Pokemon Center."

As Brandon spoke up. Meghan clinched her fist.
"Dredd." She growled looking at Kyo.

" If one of these inquisitor gems is present and they are as powerful as everyone said. Reese said something about the gems to me. He thinks the Gems can not be destoryed but he energy can be absorbed." Meghan said looking at Rose.

" You were able to Absorb the energy from the last one. We do not know what will happen if you absorb this one.." Meghan frowned

"However based on what happened on that ship WE can not let Dredd get that gem..Imagine how much more powerful it will be.." She growled

"I have a plan but almost noone is going to like it. We need to break up to the team into two groups. The first team will be for finding Dredd and challenging him head on to distract him. The second team will be the team heading to find and hopefully destroy the gem..if its possible. I think and heres where people wont be happy.

Team 1 will be Alice, Rocky, Stacy, Brandon, Paul and Myself. Thats six battlers taking on Dredd and all of us are stronger than our last meeting. While we take Dredd on Team 2. Which would be Rose, Ty and Kyo will be team two. Kyo has emergency training and can look over Ty. Will head around the chaos and danger and get to the museum to destroy the gem." Meghan said looking the team.

She had listened to what Brandon said.
" that enough of a plan?" she smiled lightly at Brandon.

Meghan turned to Paul.
"I am sorry to assume you will be joining us in this. We would all understand if you didnt want to do this. These shadow pokemon are hell to battle."

*Wait so if we are to battle him directly, does that mean all our pokemon will get sick or not? We cant lose all our pokemon, that is like most of the groups powerful pokemon :P.*

Brandon listened to Meghan's plan, when she finished asked "How is that for a plan?". Brandon thought for a second then replied "The plan sounds a good one, but it is still missing a couple things. It is missing a back up plan and an escape plan. At the very least we need an escape plan, if we are going to be heading off challenge someone with super like powers, such as Max, we need to have a way to escape if it begins to spiral out of control and we can't safely continue. I still dont like us having to do this without help from atleast Reese, but I know we can do it because we have the experience and pokemon nessecary, but still. How about instead of Paul coming with us, he try to find the pokemon center and a landline phone and he try to call everyone he can, Reese, One island police, anyone and everyone he can. That way we will atleast have some possibility of getting additional help here if we can not keep Max at bay for long enough. I think we can handle Max without him, we are still 5 trainers and almost all of us have very powerful and strong pokemon. It is a win win situation". Brandon then waited to see what Meghan thought on the plan.

Alice had been listening quietly as Brandon spoke. He made good points about having an escape plan, but Alice felt like it still wasn't enough.

"Dredd..." she said. "I can't let my Pokemon get hurt again. I only just got them back! We'll get destroyed again and all our Pokemon will be poisoned..." She was getting upset. They had all nearly DIED the last two times they'd faced Dredd. And now they were going to run straight into battle? And just for a distraction?

After Brettles began to question some of the trainers nearby, their responses got Rose's attention. They described what sounded like the shadow Pokemon they had encountered. What really got her attention was the last thing they said. "There was a creep who was standing just outside the city as some of the people started to clear the area. He didnt say a word. When we passed this guy i looked over at him and his eyes looked...dead.."

This made Rose concerned. Did this mean what she thought it did? "Could that dead-eyed trainer be Dread?" Brettles asked.

"That's exactly what I was wondering." Rose said concerned. The reason that Rose knew they had to come to see the gem was exactly because she knew Dredd would be after it, but she was scared to face Dredd again.

Meghan began to explain that Reese seemed to think that the gems couldn't be destroyed, and that Rose may have absorbed the gem on the ship. Rose thought about what she said for a moment, but neither of them said any more on the subject. Meghan moved on to explaining her plan. "Normally I'd be one of the first to object to splitting up, but... I think this time that might be our best choice." She said. Brandon gave his suggestions next. Rose listened to and agreed with most of what he had to say.

Alice had some objections to going against Dredd again. She clearly thought it was a bad idea to fight him. Rose thought she had a partial solution to this though. "I'd like to request... If Alice is okay with it of course... That she comes with us to the gem." Rose thought that it might work out a bit better this way. Alice wouldn't have to face Dredd directly (Something she clearly didn't want to do), and Rose would feel a bit better having one more person with them when something inevitably went wrong.

Rocky agreed whole-heartedly with Alice and Brandon. He didn't want to take on Dredd again. Dredd had been awful to his Pokemon last time and he had no intention of facing him again.

*Unknown to Rocky, his Honedge, 'Brightblade' pulsed a surge of courage and fatalistic heroism into him. Rocky had no idea he was being manipulated by the blade.*

Rocky changed his mind. Someone had to stand up to Dredd!

"I know it will be hard. But since when did any of us run from a fight! We can save hundreds by taking up this fight. I say that Dredd will take no more innocent lives while I still breathe! I am with you Meg!"

Meghan sighed it seemed as if no matter what the team did they couldnt get away from this.
"We can run away from this. I get no one wants this but we can not risk another S.S Anne. Rocky and I saw a 100 foot tall tentacruel destroy a cruise ship. Dredd had that kind of power just being close to the last inquisitor gem. What is going to happen if Dredd gets his hands directly on one these. If we get to One City and we need to split up then will do it but we can go in and have a look around. If something stinks then we can have Paul go for help and have Rose's Team head for the gem. "

Meghan turned to Alice.
"I know you dont want to see Dredd but I need you on my team. We need whatever man power we can if we have any hopes in slowing down. I know my plan is vauge so lets clear it up. I think we can use our pokemons special skills to throw off the shadow pokemon. We can battle from afar by using combo moves like water moves and electric moves which will slow down pokemon from a distance. All we need to do is break up the shadow pokemon and Dredds attention will be drawn towards us. Long enough for Rose to destroy the Gem. Does this work? "

While Rocky was eager to face Dredd for some strange reason, Rose seemed more hesitant about the whole plan. "I'd like to request... If Alice is okay with it of course... That she comes with us to the gem." she said.

Alice reached out and squeezed Rose's hand. She felt like she had become good friends with Rose since Meg had been away from the group and she appreciated the girl's offer, but before she could say anything, Meg had spoken up.

Meg told the group that they couldn't run from this. Then she went on to describe her plan for distracting Dredd in greater detail. "... Alright." Alice agreed. "As long as we're going to try and avoid a direct battle. There's no way we can actually beat Dredd, even if we have gotten stronger." Alice still felt unsure, but her pride refused to let her argue any further. If things got too rough, she would return her Pokemon to their Pokeballs where they'd be safe.

Alice turned to Rose. "Thanks for inviting me along, Rose," Alice smiled. "I would really like to go with you, but I think these guys need more help than you do. You've done some really amazing things," Alice said, looking at Rose with admiration. "I know you'll be able to sort out this gem business."
