While Rocky was eager to face Dredd for some strange reason, Rose seemed more hesitant about the whole plan. "I'd like to request... If Alice is okay with it of course... That she comes with us to the gem." she said.

Alice reached out and squeezed Rose's hand. She felt like she had become good friends with Rose since Meg had been away from the group and she appreciated the girl's offer, but before she could say anything, Meg had spoken up.

Meg told the group that they couldn't run from this. Then she went on to describe her plan for distracting Dredd in greater detail. "I think we can use our pokemons special skills to throw off the shadow pokemon. We can battle from afar by using combo moves like water moves and electric moves which will slow down pokemon from a distance."

"... Alright." Alice agreed. "As long as we're going to try and avoid a direct battle. There's no way we can actually beat Dredd, even if we have gotten stronger." Alice still felt unsure, but her pride refused to let her argue any further. If things got too rough, she would return her Pokemon to their Pokeballs where they'd be safe.

Alice turned to Rose. "Thanks for inviting me along, Rose," Alice smiled. "I would really like to go with you, but I think these guys need more help than you do. You've done some really amazing things," Alice said, looking at Rose with admiration. "I know you'll be able to sort out this gem business."
