As he finished speaking to Stacy, Meghan came over and began conversing with her. Brandon stepped back and walked a little distance away while they talked, however, he made sure he was still in earshot of them, so he could listen into the conversation, which was a mixture of sad news about Ty and how he apparently didnt make it and informative information like a pink pokemon that apparently focused on everyone in the team except Ty and Dredd.

Brandon knew when he heard about the pink pokemon that, that must have been how they survived. The pokemon must have used some kind of move to bring them someplace safe and therefore saving them. The only thing left to do now was figure out exactly where they were.

When Meghan and Stacy had finished their conversation Brandon came back over and gave his condlences to Stacy about Ty and told her to stay strong and one day things will be normal again and they could live happy, peaceful and normal lives with their pokemon and family. Stacy then thanked him and said "Ty always looked up to you", Brandon felt tears well up in his eyes as she said it and all he could say in reply was "Yeah he did... Such a good kid he was, with so much to learn, so much energy, so much life to live.... He was starting to become a good trainer too... Guys... We must not stop until Team Rocket has been taken down and everyone in its evil organization thrown in prison for all they have done, we must stop those devils, even if it is the last thing we do, we WILL stop them!" Then with that he hugged Stacy tightly and then backed away, wiping away the tears. He had to stay positive and strong, for his pokemon, for the team and for himself. He began to call his pokemon over, as Skipper and Marshtomp came over to him, he released the rest of his team, caught them up on the events that transpired and explained to them the current situation, before finally wrapping up with "We must find a way off this island or wherever we are and get back to one island so Stacy can recover Ty, whether alive or dead, from the rubble and either re unite with him or make sure he gets back to his family and given a hero's funeral. We are going to make sure she succeeds in doing this, no matter what, because Ty saved us and it is the least we can do for him". When he finished, Brandon's pokemon all nodded.

A few moments later, a loud bang echoed from the northern end of the island. Immediatelly, Brandon's pokemon formed their defensive formation around their trainer, ready to defend and protect him should there be any threat. Brandon walked over to where Meghan and Stacy were, saying to them "I dont know what that sound was and whether I should like or dis like it, but whatever it is, I think we should go North and investigate. I sure if it is a threat of anything, it is nothing we can't handle, I mean afterall, we have been through hell and back already, I am sure whatever it is, can't be anything worse then Dredd. If it is something good, then maybe whatever it is can help us get off this island and back to one island". Then after a short pause he said "What do you think?".

Stacy and Meghan went back and forth for a minute while Rose stood silent, thinking about what had just happened. Finally Meghan turned away from Stacy and towards Kyo. Rose wanted to believe what Meghan said was true, but she couldn't figure out why Kyo would try to stop her from getting to the gem. It was obvious to her that Kyo didn't want this to happen. There was no way that she had tackled her with the intention of letting Ty reaching the gem first. She didn't want to blame Kyo for Ty's death, but regardless of whether or not she meant it, Rose was convinced that everything would have been fine if Kyo hadn't stopped her.

Rose jumped as a loud bang echoed from the north. Brandon suggested that they should go and investigate it. "I... We don't know where we are or how we got here. I think it might be better if we try to stay away from potential trouble until we do." Rose responded.

" There was no way you could have known what would happen. This isnt your fault"

Kyo paused at that and a smile spread across her face. She had somewhat of a hollow look in her eyes and she couldn't keep herself from laughing. Kyo wrapped her arms around her stomach as tears spilled from her eyes. She began to wheeze, running out of breath from laughing so much. Kyo began to cough after a minute but still continued to laugh until she couldn't do it anymore. As she gasped for breath, Kyo wiped her eyes and shook her head.

"If only you had seen what I saw. You would understand how wrong that statement truly is." Kyo paused then frowned. She shook her head again and hit herself in the forehead. "No, what am I saying. I wouldn't wish for anybody to have to remember what happened. Even someone as strong as you, Meghan, wouldn't be able to stand the weight of those memories." Kyo lowered her head just a little. "I'll just bear the burden alone."

Even though it seemed like almost no time had passed at all since the events with the gem, Kyo seemed to have aged drastically. Not in body, for she seemed to be her same old self in that regard, but in mind and in soul, she seemed to be almost a century older. It was as if she had witnessed things that had forced her to mature in a way no one would ever want. It was easy to see if you looked at Kyo. The usual fire that danced in her eyes had dimmed almost completely. Her gaze was sad and a frown seemed to be her natural expression. Her hair seemed less wild as well, drooping and sagging where it fell out of its ponytail. Kyo's tone of voice had even changed, and she seemed a lot more cynical than before. It was as if the person that currently stood trial before the group was not the same person that they had known not so long ago.

Kyo looked at Meghan, a realization dawning on her as darkness further clouded over Kyo's heart. "You think I'm crazy… don't you?" Kyo looked up as there was a bang in the distance. She heard some people making suggestions as to whether or not they go check it out. Kyo frowned and felt anger boiling inside her. "Why don't I go check it out? Maybe I might run into another legendary that will make everyone think I'm even more insane! Yeah that sounds like a perfectly great idea! Who's in favor of that one huh? I bet you all are eager to sacrifice me to wolves! You have been since we met and now I've just given you another reason to hate me. So go ahead! Just say you want me dead, I won't be surprised! Nothing surprises me anymore." Kyo glanced at Alice out of the corner of her eye. "Not after I met Max, not after I witnessed Giratina rise, not after I witnessed the world coming to end! All we needed was the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse and it would have been a great party!" Kyo felt her lip quivering. Tears were quickly running down her cheeks. She wasn't sure when she had started crying again. Kyo let out a strangled cry and buried her face in her knees, shaking with each sob she choked out.

It was a lot to take in. Everything that had happened. Ty gone... Alice was finding it difficult to remember. A bang in the distance seemed to refocus the group as everyone tried to decide whether to investigate. Alice just felt... strange. Suddenly Kyo began to yell about the others not trusting her, about Max and Giratina. Alice felt like she was missing something. She had seen Giratina in Max's head... all the way back in Cerulean and again on the boat. But how did Kyo know about that? Did something happen when Rose and the others went to get the gem? Something didn't add up. By now Kyo had started crying.

"Kyo..." Alice said softly. She approached the girl and placed a hand gently on her shoulder. Alice was seeing things in Kyo that she didn't recognise, but being so close to death would change anybody. "What happened? Did you really see Giratina? Did he appear to you when you went to get the gem?" Alice questioned, wanting to understand. "Did he hurt you? You're our friend now," Alice said soothingly. "You've done so many brave things to prove yourself to us. I trust you. I would never want you dead, or hurt." Alice as dying to ask about Max but she didn't want to press Kyo when she was so clearly overwhelmed.

Rocky looked around at everyone blaming themselves for the horrible happenings. He didn't understand that concept. He had been brought with the very simple belief that whatever happened, it was not his fault! The servants should have handled it. Perhaps the rest of these trainers didn't realise that the fault always lies with the servants. He stepped forward to explain that next time they should hire some underlings to do the dangerous dirty work for them.

"You know what I think? I think that we ....." Rocky trailed off as he got a better look at the expressions on Rose, Kyo, Meghan, Stacy and Alice's faces. He had seen that expression on numerous girls and women over his life and knew that whatever he said next, he was going to get yelled at. "... Um.... I am going to ... go ... and ... umm ... scout ahead! Brandon! Why don't you join me?"

Rocky made some subtle hand gestures to Brandon to suggest they get the heck out of here before the tension amongst the girls escalated into extreme viciousness directed for some reason at him. (Editors note. *Rocky thinks that his hand gestures were quite subtle. But they were not!)

Rose realized that Kyo had seen something that the others hadn't when they went for the gem when she started yelling. Rose felt bad for blaming her when she saw her begin to cry. Rose watched silently as Alice tried to console her, followed by Rocky's somewhat less helpful comments, which she disregarded. "Kyo..." Rose began, speaking softly. "There were so many times you could have thought that I was crazy, but you never did. After everything that's happened, I don't think there is anything you could say right now that would make me think you're crazy."

Rose had no idea what Kyo had seen, or when she had seen it, but something had obviously happened. Thinking back on what had happened, nothing made sense to her. The closer they got to the gem, the more blurry her memories seemed to become. She quickly returned her attention back to Kyo.

Kyo had unloaded everything that was bothering her and what she said hit those around her hard. Meghan was at a loss of words. Giratina? Max? World in chaos? had Kyo experinced a strong psychic vision of the future? When all was said and done. Meghan didnt doubt for a second whatever she had experienced in the chaos was real. She wrapped her arms around Kyo tight.

" You saved me..more than once. I couldnt have made it this far without you. Whatever horrors you experienced they are gone..What happened to Ty." Meghan said pressing head on Kyo shoulder

" It wasnt your fault. That gem was a weapon that was going to kill all of us. Sadly whatever forced saved us couldnt save him." She said her eyes filling with tears again.

Meghan backed off a little standing up.She wiped her eyes clear.
" We have one mission now, finding a way to get back to the island. Stacy is going to need us all to be stronger than ever." Meghan said looking off at the Stacy who had already walked off in a dazy heading north.



As she walked Stacy pulled out charm that she had been holding onto for Ty. She pressed it against her chest and walked in almost a daze.

When Rocky called for Brandon to help me scout the area. They didnt make it more than a few feet before something quickly came speeding past.




Stacy paused as she noticed the pokemon flying towards her and maybe back towards the group. As the Pokemon got close she just paused. If it was going to hit or attack her she didnt much care right now. Rocky had picked up the sound two and started to run towards Stacy. When he noticed the Scizor he picked up the pace and quickly pulled her out of the way. As it flew over head Rocky noticed the pokemon had moved out of the way as to not hit either of them. It looked to be moving fast for a reason.

The scizor continued and quickly flew past the girls. Rocky looked north as he heard the sound of someone calling.


" Clamp slow down!" The voice called.

As it got closer and closer the team noticed a boy riding on the back of a big deer pokemon. For those familiar with Unova they recognized this pokemon as a sawsbuck.

Rocky heard a familiar buzzing. He turned to see a Scizor flying toward them. He had experience with these back at the steel gym where he had been apprenticed. he knew they could be bad tempered and bad news.

It flew past him and was heading straight for Stacy. She didn't seem to register the danger so Rocky ran up and grabbed her and pulled her out of the way. he placed himself protectively between the Scizor and Stacy, she had enough to deal with already. He stood ready to tackle this Scizor if necessary, hoping that someone had some bandages, because the last time he tried this in the gym, it had hurt. A lot!

The Scizor however veered off and didn't attack, it seemed to be on its way somewhere. A stranger rode up on some sort of Pokemon that Rocky had never seen before.

" Clamp slow down!" the trainer called out before stopping. "Geez are you okay? Did Clamp hurt anyone."

"Greetings, good sir. My name is Roxborough Smithwick, pleasure to meet you. Fortunately I have received extensive training in steel type Pokemon and was able to clear everyone out of the way. Your Scizor, 'Clamp' was it? Didn't seem to want to hurt anyone, it just seemed in a hurry to get where it was going."

"I was hoping you could be of some assistance. We have run into rather a large spot of bother. One of our number, this young lady's brother is missing and we are gravely concerned. Could you tell us exactly where we are, and which direction we should head to get to the city on One Island."

Somehow all the girls ended up in some kind of weird arguement and no one really heard what he said. Brandon shook his head and wondered how to best defuse the situation. He swore he didn't understand girls' thought processes sometimes. When Rocky suggested he and Brandon scout ahead before the situation became even worse, he couldn't agree more and began to wall north with Rocky. They noticed Stacy slightly ahead of them, they started run to catch up with her. They caught up with her in only a few steps, Brandon slowed back down to a walk while Rocky continued running. A few moments later, however, a pokemon came flying towards them at a fast rate of speed. Immediatelly Brandon's pokemon took up defensive stances, prepared to take down the fast flying pokemon if it tried to attack them or their trainer. Skipper used his huge size to try and scare and warn the approaching pokemon to stay away, spreading his arms out defensively, shielding not only Brandon, but most of his other pokemon as well, with his big arms and let out a loud, threatening 'ROOOOAAARRR' of warning. The pokemon kept flying fast towards them, Brandon could now see as it got closer that it was Scizor, a steel type pokemon. The pokemon kept coming, flying past Rocky and towards him and Stacy, Rocky reacted swiftly and quickly to protect Stacy, running back to her and moving her to the ground and out of the way of the Scizor. As for the protection of Brandon, well Skipper and the rest of his pokemon had that covered. As it moved closer and closer Skipper appeared to get ready to shoot some flames at the pokemon, but the pokemon appeared to not want to hurt anyone and adjusted course to miss them all, it kept flying past them and then past all the girls. A moment later yelling could be heard in the north "CLAMP SLOW DOWN" then a trainer on the back of a pokemon Brandon didn't recoginize came speeding in their direction. As the trainer approached, Skipper and the rest of Brandon's pokemon turned their attention to the approaching trainer, watching the trainer and his pokemon carefully, content to take action if either tried to harm them or their trainer. The trainer seemed to mean no harm though and when he reached them he stopped his pokemon and dis mounted, talking apologetically and asking if 'Clamp' had hurt anybody. It seemed the Scizor was the trainers pokemon as well. Rocky took the lead talking to the trainer and asking him questions. Skipper and the rest of Brandon's pokemon stopped their defensive stances as soon as it became clear he meant no harm. They did, however, remain in their defensive formation, still not taking any chances. Brandon watched on silently and let Rocky due the talking to the trainer.

Kyo looked up between the three girls and sniffled. She glanced back towards the ground, guilt welling within her when she realized these women meant her no harm. Rocky was a maybe given those non-so subtle gestures he was making, but Alice, Rose, and Meg were definitely on Kyo's side. So Kyo began to open up.

"I'm not the Kyo that walked through One Island with you, slept on the forest with you a few nights ago, or helped against Lt. Surge. I did all those things, but they seem like so long ago. The Kyo that you know has disappeared, and where she currently exists, I have my suspicions but I'd rather not dwell on it. I am the Kyo that witnessed the future where Rose took hold of the gem." Kyo took in a shaky breath. "Giratina… he took the form of a human, almost, and tried to take over our world, but things went haywire. To answer your question, Alice, yes I believe I did see Giratina, and in a way I guess he did appear to me when I went to get the gem, but not in the way you would think. I have witnessed his power, the mere thought of it making me feel nauseous from the memories of it." Kyo paused as she thought over where Giratina hurt her. "He took everything from me. Physically he did not touch me, Rocky handled that one pretty well, but Giratina…" Kyo's eyes flicked to Meg briefly. "Giratina stripped lives from this world that I couldn't bear to be seen taken. Not yet anyway."

Before Kyo could elaborate more, a Scizor and unfamiliar trainer appeared in the clearing. Kyo watched them with uninterested eyes before looking back at the ground.
