So far Alice had succeeded in not thinking too hard about Ty. It was quiet without the boy's usual banter. She forced herself to focus on walking and thought of Mega Stones. She knew only a little about them, as she had always been more interested in fossils. Before this journey, she hadn't realised the value of having a strong Pokemon on her side. She wished she'd had the chance to ask Logan some more questions. Above Aria circled lazily. She could mostly glide along on her large wings.

When they reached the town, Brandon explained the situation. It was nice to see him taking charge. After a few unfortunate events at the start of their journey, Brandon was always very cautious. Alice was glad to see him confidently addressing the woman who offered them help. If there were really mega stones on this island, Alice would like to stay and explore, but she couldn't let Stacy face One Island and what had happened there alone. She would stay with the group, at least for now.
