Pokemon Cosplay at Anime Matsuri 2015

On the weekend of April 3rd to the 5th, Houston, Texas hosted the 9th Anime Matsuri at the George R. Brown Convention Center! Anime Matsuri is an anime convention that not only features anime but some great cosplay! If you love cosplay then this in the anime convention for you as they host panels by some cosplay stars!
There was plenty of great Pokemon cosplay to be found at Anime Matsuri. Several unique ones that you may not have seen before. Featured above is a Greninja gijinka from Super Smash Bros. This cosplayer did a great job translating Greninja’s tongue into a scarf and he had quite a lot of detail in the helmet.

My personal favorite is the Yellow cosplayer above. It is always amazing to see lesser known characters being cosplay. This cosplayer knew how to cosplay Yellow. She had Yellow’s fishing pool, straw hat and her Chuchu (Yellow’s Pikachu) had a flower in her ear. It was perfect! She captured Yellow’s adorableness to a tee!
