You get to pick Pokemon pretty often from events. :) So you'll probably be able to collect all the ones you want eventually! The ones that aren't in the GCEA Kanto dex (different to the real Kanto dex xD) at all are the hardest to find in the actual RP itself, so maybe pick either one of those or a Kanto Pokemon that appears late in game!

Also agree that we should think about changing the rubric for drawings. A piece can still be fully finished if it's a little different to a "regular" drawing, like if it's a pencil drawing or if it's in a sketchy style, and the rubric doesn't really allow that right now. :) I think it'd be cool to see more varied styles!

Also, did you guys want me to judge the 20th Anniversary/Jirachi Contest Stories when the time comes? I submitted art this time around for that event, so there's no issue of me being unable to judge because my own submission is among the entries.

Yep definitely keep on top of your card. It can be a huge pain if you don't, especially for me as I'm the one who has to check them XD

I don't know if the Jirachi event is a contest, I think it was more of a participation thing? But I'm sure everyone would appreciate feedback either way!

Guys the journals will be graded! So even if we go over wait for a response before claiming any points.

I did read your post. Nowhere does it say you were extending the grading period but just an impression that it will be graded soon. Since there were no signs of any updates, and it went past more than a week you cant blame us for claiming the pointsAnd wasn't it a definitive rule if the time period goes over a week we can claim the points? And at most we would be the one requesting for the feedback/grade, not getting overruled just like what you just didyou can't just extend the grading period after the timeline has exceeded. Not really fair for those who had their entries up for a week or so.

The even if its over part is talking about time its suppose to be graded. And more directly and not really open to debate it directly says. Wait for a response before claiming. Thats crystal clear. The journals will be graded. Those of you who feel wronged can pm/vm about it as this effects others as well including myself. As of this post the grading submission time to get posts will be removed until the staff can figure out a proper system for this. Sorry for the inconvenience but we are doing our best.

With all due respect, the best thing that ever happened to the journal was that grading period. It means we aren't at the mercy of the grader actually doing something to get any points and based on the amount of entries that haven't been graded and how long it's been it doesn't look like they will be done any time soon...

I do not disagree with this. However I feel like some revisions need to be made. I might open up grading to everyone. I'm at work so I'll be posting up a thread in the staff section with how I think the journal section can be handled in time.
