Everyone I have made some changes to Kanto rules that are different from the other versions. Those of you who have looked through the threads already should be aware of these changes.


1. Pokeballs- in the past have been magical things. In most cases people didnt even have to buy them. Blows my mind too! From this point on they will be kept track of in all characters headers. That way we know that people are buying them.

2. Partner Pokemon- In Kanto you will be allowed a seventh pokemon. This pokemon can cover field moves like flying, surfing, breaking rocks. It should more of actions that take place in the story. It can be used to capture pokemon but can not be used in any battles. You are not required to have one but you should consider it.

3. Friendship evolutoin has changed a lot! The following three steps get you a free friend for life...Awwwww
1. You level up the pokemon ten levels. (any pokemon can be leveled up ten levels!)
2. You must use it in a normal battle. (It has to fight!)
3. It must be apart of your team during a gym battle. If its against the leader it does not have to be used. You can also choose to battle a gym trainer but you must use the pokemon in the battle if you. ( This is the easier route.)
Once those three have been met you can go ahead and evolve it. Use the normal evolution form and link the steps two and three to it.

4. Special Evolution pokemon can now evolve whenever you get the gym badge that unlocks their level. In the older versions you would have to wait for specific pokemon to be unlocked. No more!

5. Fully Evolved pokemon can be leveled up throughout the story. There is no cap anymore. The pokemon can be leveled up to meet all current gym badge levels.
