I'm excited to start actually getting the experience myself. I've read over these at times already, yet I still get kinda confused. So I guess first-hand experience is where I'll need the learning curve here. Just so it's not going over my head all the time xD

Okay, I think I might have done things in the wrong order. I put the birthday event claims (listed here) in Event Claim Version 2 and updated my stats with them, but I didn't mention them in GCEA: Kanto Pokébank yet. I wasn't sure if the Eevee and Zorua I got out of that were considered Event Claims or Capture Claims and if they needed approval in both threads or just one.

Also...

Since Wayne is starting off Resurgent Red with an Eevee and Zorua in addition to the Charmander as a starter, for storyline purposes, could I say he was given the Eevee and Zorua as a result of helping someone or were found as lost Pokémon (just so there's a storyline reason for them to be in his possession)? The Eevee is 25 points, so I already understand that Wayne can't use the Eevee anyway until he gets at least the first badge. It's only the Zorua at 15 points that he would be able to use right from the start.

Anyway, if I goofed up somewhere, please let me know, I'll be happy to fix things and make it right.

Sorry that is really on me. I get event happy. All pokemon you get in a events as prizes/bdays or anything outside of getting directly in the story by me or an SM. You should always put in the Event Claim. Technically the pokemon isnt yours until it appears in the story.

Yup like Max said, even though you've got those Pokemon through events, you don't get them straight away in the story. You have to wait for the story mod to work them in, basically like a wild Pokemon appearance. Then you can claim them in the story and once that happens, you put them in your stats and post in the Pokebank!

So yeah the Event Claim thread is there for that reason - as a holding place until the Pokemon is given to you in the story!

If you're really lucky, @Rival Max won't make you wait a whole year before giving you the Shiny Eevee you claimed ;) *hint hint*
