You'll receive your starter in the roleplay. You won't start with it from the very first post :) Once you get to it, you will be told how many points it has (ie. what level it's on). It won't be an egg. Then once you are instructed to claim it in the roleplay thread, you update your stats and fill out the form in the Pokebank to have it made official! :D Woo I'm excited for you guys to start!
I'm excited to start actually getting the experience myself. I've read over these at times already, yet I still get kinda confused. So I guess first-hand experience is where I'll need the learning curve here. Just so it's not going over my head all the time xD
