Rocky was gladdened to her Meg say, "Jacob is right.. if you want to get out of here now is the time."

Rocky looked at the other trainers. "Are you guys all crazy? Yes it's time to leave. This is a job for Gym leaders, the elite 4 or the region champion. Not a bunch of brand new trainers. Come on follow me, lets get out of here."

Rocky turned, hoping that the others would follow and started to walk away from the battle scene.

'Not my job, stupid psychotic outsider looking to die! Don't ask me to join you!' Rocky thought angrily as he walked away.

He heard sounds of battle behind him and he turned to see Jacob run out and take on a trio of attacking Pokemon abominations. He could take care of himself he didn't need Rocky's help. Rocky was right to leave, this was way above his ability and training.

The he saw the earth crack and a large shadow Nidoking swatted Jacob's final Pokemon to the ground. The trainer was helpless.

Years of football training kicked in! His team was in trouble and it was up to the Canalave superstar to save the day.

"Look out!" Rocky roared as he charged in. He knocked Jacob to the side before the Nidoking could impale him with it's shadow spikes.

"Prof, Sniper. I need help here!" Rocky called out his Poison team.

The Shadow Nidoking swung it's tail, only to be met by Professor Needles swinging his tail and clashing with his opponent. In theory it should have been an even fight, but somehow the shadow Pokemon was able to overpower Professor.

Despite a spirited defence, the shadow Pokemon's ferocity was too much and Professor succumbed to his wounds.

Seeing his advantage, sniper shot in from the side and crunched his fangs into the Shadow Nidoking's neck. The Shadow Nidoking fainted, but Sniper jumped back shaking his head, as if he had tasted something horrible.

Rocky looked over at Jacob. "Don't be a martyr! Get up, get out of here! Come on!" He grabbed jacob's arm to pull him out of danger, but before he could move a stange burst of shadowy spores hit Sniper. The Arbok hissed in pain and turned to lash out at the source of the spores. He got a few stikes in but the shadow spores did there job and knocked the Arbok out.
