Pokémon Reorchestrated YouTube Channel Terminated

We have an update to the story concerning Pokémon Reorchestrated which we reported on early last week. As of February 16, 2016, the Pokémon Reorchestrated YouTube Channel has been taken down from YouTube.
The channel’s termination results from three copyright strikes from Pokemon concerning copyright regarding Pokémon Reorchestrated’s music uploads to YouTube. The first two happen earlier in the month concerning tracks from Kanto Symphony. According to Pokémon Reorchestrated’s Twitter account, a third notice was sent which means that YouTube has taken action to remove the Pokémon Reorchestrated channel.
Braxton Burks, creator of Pokémon Reorchestrated, has been uploading orchestrated reworkings of music from Pokemon since 2012 but this is the first time he has gotten a copyright strike. It is unsure what prompted this recently action but this could involve something dealing with copyright law. According to Braxton’s colleague, the channel may have lacked a “Sync license” which uploads to YouTube would most likely count as.
Below are some words that Braxton would like to say concerning the whole situation:

But the fact remains that I’m not the only one uploading covers—YouTube has a huge community of fan musicians and remixers who are devoted to sharing their Pokémon covers with other fans. And what about all the passionate Pokémon Let’s Players and creative fans out there making their own Pokémon inspired games? Are their videos and channels going to be removed too?
“I think that The Pokémon Company should be setting a precedent for other game companies in the digital age by working with their fans to support prolific fans inspired by their properties—not penalizing them for trying to share their enthusiasm with the community.”

As the time of this article, so far no other Pokemon music remixers have reported similar action taken against them from Pokemon. Though this does bring up a good point about where they fall and if they would also receive similar actions in the future.
Fans of Pokémon Reorchestrated can still listen to all of already created tracks via streaming services such as Soundcloud and purchase via iTunes and Loudr.

I think this is kinda unfair considering they issued three separate notices so that the channel got deleted. They could have issued one notice for everything rather than doing a bit at a time and let the guy keeps his channel at least. It's a bit of a mean move :/
