If I'm going to have kids, I need to be able to provide for them in both time and money, and I don't really have that at the moment. Besides, it's not a race. Getting married and having kids doesn't add bonus points to your total score in life. It's all about accomplishing the things you personally find are meaningful in your life and learning who you are and what you want to become. For some, sure, that includes getting married and having kids. For other guys like us, there are other goals, and as time moves along, sure, that can be all subject to change based on experiences and what we've learned over time.
To me, not having a colossal group of friends and having a girlfriend is not me being antisocial. It's more about being selectively social, and I'd rather hang around people and places that share my interests, values, and show decency and respect. But if that's not possible, it's better to experience individualism than to be with bad company.
