I read on YouTube videos, or something, that lots of people actually hated Max for being too boring and blah, and that Chloe was the only interesting character. But I actually like Max cause it really shows her progression throughout the game, how she becomes so much more confident in herself. She's not the scaredy girl she used to be. Actually, even though I loved Chloe, I ended up hating her half the time from all the horrible choices she made. I thought Max and her made an awesome duo, cause Chloe encourages Max to be more confident and daring, while Max subdues Chloe's wild side and keeps her grounded. c:
OH MY GOD, YES! I did the exact same thing when Chloe shot herself and I totally freaked. Pretty sure I instantly hit the rewind button, but that didn't make me feel any better knowing it already happened. Thinking about that kinda stuff makes me feel even more admiration for Max, who has to remember and put up with all those memories and scenarios gone wrong, while everyone else is none the wiser. That train scene scared the crap out of me. I never saw the train catch up with her, though, cause every time I heard the whistle when it was about to get close I hit the rewind button again. D: Like there is no way I could watch something like that..
I knew that, too. You could instantly see she was someone who was going through a big downward spiral. :/ I totally had her pegged for suicide, so I was surprised at all when that happened. I'm so glad I was able to save her on my first playthrough, though. I heard a lot of people actually didn't, and that's a shame. Kate is such a nice person who just has really bad things happening to her.
Yeah I wasn't sure who to dob in either, but I went for Nathan too cause a lot of the evidence pointed to him, and he was such an idiot for all the stuff he put poor Kate through. I did think Jefferson should've helped Kate more, though. He really didn't do anything. And I didn't really like David either. xD They're all kinda bad in that situation. But Nathan was the bigger of three evils lol.
XD When I saw that part with Chloe at the end on episode 3 I covered my mouth and totally cried. I knew it, as soon as Max opened the door to that house, that something had gone terribly wrong. I mean COME ON, anyone BUT Chloe I would have been fine with, but NOOOOOO. *pouty face*
Oh yay! I never liked Warren, either. Actually he's really quite stalkerish... also a tryhard, and it bugs me how FREAKING CLINGY he is! Like if that was a guy trying to hit on me I'd be all like NO WAY. *holds up hand* And it's quite clear that Max doesn't like him in that way, because she never really acknowledges anything he does, and always ditches him for Chloe or anything else that's going on at the time. He's a good friend who needs to learn the meaning of the word "boundary" a little more. xD
