Usually that depends on the weight of the card, but most of the time a forever stamp that you get at the post office will do the job. If you're not sure and don't want to risk a return to sender incident, you could check with the person behind the desk at the post office.

xD It shouldn't cost that much... It only cost me $2 to post a card overseas the last time I did it and Australian Post is SO EXPENSIVE usually.

http://pokemoncenter.com/ Stuff from Japan that has been made available to the US/Canada. Sadly not international :( But much cheaper than buying from Japan if you're in the US.
