I just had my first ever fillings. My mouth is numb and I keep poking it. xD

Yeah, they feel weird at first. Usually when I've had fillings and Novocaine done, I just sleep off the weird numbness feeling. Really, it feels like half your face turned into Play-Doh.

These days, if I need a filling done, I don't even want Novocaine. I'll take the icy sting of my nerves getting whacked over the numbness that comes from Novocaine. And to be honest, I don't think the Novocaine helps all that much. At least for me it doesn't. I still feel most of the pain anyway.

I just felt like the whole left side of my jaw was swollen. xD Of course it wasn't, but it was all lopsided when I went to smile! UGH.

And really? You still feel pain? :/ That's awful. I didn't feel a thing, and even after it wore off I only felt a little aching. And most of the pain was actually coming from the injection in the gum where they stabbed me haha.
