I was #6 back then when it first moved to the first Vbulletin forum. But yeah, I remember when the Proboards one was killed off by the Proboards support staff simply for having a foreign language board. Then we used a temporary URPG forum just to keep everyone connected until we made the permanent move.

What a mess that whole thing was, but it's cool to see long-term members like you still hanging around with the community. When I first joined late in 2003, I never thought I'd find such a cool gathering of internet buddies.

Why? Was it against the rules to have a foreign language board?

The main forum AWA and Awasfriend are from that we all hang out on is a proboards that's why I'm curious.

I'm pretty sure at that time all boards had to be in English.

Yeah it's pretty crazy what kind of rules some of the boards have.

Most frustrating thing it a board. Is seeing "database error." Ah, GT's time of fall. It lead to what the time where it just kept falling and showed just how much they "cared" for their members. *shakes my head*

Just started Baccano! and I was told to watch it in English and it feels so weird! LIKE WHERE ARE THE WORDS AT THE BOTTOM! IS THIS ENGLISH! AHHHH!!!

I've always heard good things from Baccano. There is those few really good anime that we all have to watch in English if we watch it. Like Full Metal Alchemist, Beccano, and my personal favorite, Case Closed. It's so AMAZING in English. Too bad it's been discontinued by FUNimation. Only subs and the manga for us now =/

High School of the Dead is great in English because it's almost self aware as to how stupid it is so they drop the F bomb almost every sentence and make Sarah Palin jokes.

First episode done and NO ONE TOLD ME THIS WAS A MAFIA ANIME WITH SUPERNATURAL INFLUENCES AND SUCH WHAT IS THIS GLORIOUSNESS.

Just as surprising to me as Steins;Gate was I take it? I LOVE things with hints or bases to time travel. All my friend told me was that I'd love it and HAD to watch it. I watched the first episode. Hours later I'm on episode 12 that same day xD. I had class the next day so I had to wait to finish the next 12. It was on heck of a hard wait too

I binged FMAB in a week. I had four episodes and a test the next day at 9 AM. So you know what I did? What any smart student would do and stayed up until 3AM to finish watching the show.

Though this intro is so god dang catchy! I have to wonder what my roommate thinks I'm doing though because all she can see is me doing this.

Oh it's the kind of lifestyle we long for. Slacking off to do what we enjoy comes with it. Then when the time comes to stand up and take responsibility. At least most of us do. Typically back in college I got all my tasks, had some days of fun.relaxed, then gave myself a few days to handle the work. Some stressed me out and took a lot of work. Up until the last day, but I got the job done. I'm sure you're still doing s fantastic job too from what I've heard you say. If that last sorority doesn't accept you. Tell them to expect a visit from PXR's finest. It won't be any fun for them, but it will for us. Then leave anonymous messages for the others. Saying the same xD

I appreciate it! Yeah for the most part I don't have many assignments yet so during the week I work and during the weekend I slack off. It's nice but this won't last long probably. Still, it's fun. And I always make time for anime!
