Here's everyone I think I can rule out, from just that:
Nairek, Mustle, Pormalu, Sequentia (all married; married!=no family); Cinci (Aunt Clementine), Gung (has a child), Wador (brother killed by Stalker), Torqueal (IIRC, the Roggenrola is his son), Pasco (has sister)
Fern, Mindu, Sharley, Rabukan, Lora, Brenne (job satisfaction); all kids (wouldn't have jobs)
Dominique (had Rusco before he died), Giphlin (friends with Poko), Vivanctus ("many good friends"), Latime (friends with Charli)
Kure (c'mon now)


Any ideas on how we can track down that password? I'd rather not target Finichi without confirmation. She's very aggressive toward alleged fellow Stalker Extol, which doesn't clear her, but unless the Stalkers can work against each other, or she's giving us worthless leads, she's unlikely.

She may be showing extreme disgust at a fellow Stalker to air her disgust at Philter without aggravating Philter, thus herself in a way. Either way, Rabukan is also under suspicion and did come to the crime scene for his death. I have suspicions that she can't help us with herself but can help us against others.

We never did find out if the Stalkers are working together entirely. The Enthrallers, definitely, but there is a distinction to be made from the Enthrallers alone and the symbiotic relationship we call a Stalker. Stalkers have different levels of agreement with their puppeteers, as said by the Kirlia. Add in the fact that other killings (IE our missed assassinations) can also raise the kill levels and its possible that the Stalkers do not actually know who one another is, and are only being stopped by the Enthrallers in the cases they meet, and their general plan is to just cause enough death. It may be Oblivion is actually instructing another (the 'Scratcher') for instance.

This complicates our lives more-so than simplifies it but they really boned up their game this time around.

I am admittedly, not caught up with any of the current cycle, so usually I'd reserve opinions until I am, but I did glance at this post, and my first instinct was the numbers on [Torn Note Half 1/2]. This is really just a hunch, especially until we find the other half, but if there are two more numbers on that half, those are what I'd suggest using. The message for the puzzle was apparently "Use the number you see", too.

There was a "47" in the corner of the torn page, so I think you're right there. We need to find the other half.

A summary of places where philter has hidden her Diary entries/hidout/torn note:

Torn note - Destno Public housing complex floors 41-50 (A very impoverished and ugly place)
Diary entry 1 - (in the vine lockbox) Shalerich apartment building (abandoned, small and lower class)
diary entry 2 - Destno Housing complex floors 21-30
Hideout - Starwatcher skyscraper floors 81-90 (abandoned penthosue)

The pattern I see is that Philter obviously wants to live in a penthouse, but is accustomed with poverty-stricken areas. Our best bet would be to search thrugh places specifically described as extra poor, low class, and generally run-down and ugly. Probably and apartment or housing complex, since that's also a theme.

Since Exorcism is an any-cycle action and there hasn't yet been a Stalker who kills in broad daylight, I've decided to just go ahead and interview Zamsi the Flygon during the daylight hours - and I asked them about their laundry. I may be giving them something to cotton onto, but it's not like I can interview Elton, and hopefully the way I phrased things will throw off Zamsi's suspicion.

At the current moment, it isn't safe to read. Not unless you want to go insane and lose yourself to some really dark magic. Maybe there's something we can find that'll ward it off. If not, .........well let's hope we won't need to have anyone sacrifice themselves for it.

I definitely wouldn't recommend reading it. It's so full of hate, violence, and evil that you would just wish to go back in time when curiosity didn't get the best of you...

But I'm sure you'll need it for something...

Well, hopefully Lephley is sensible enough to be helpful when I talk to him. It can be hard to find something useful when you have to deal with their depression.

OK, so, I believe literally half the people we've interviewed today made references to Uru the Sudowoodo or his child in some manner. I think it's blatantly obvious that someone has to use Diplomacy on him.

A calm reminder that type and other such considerations have no bearing on the use of Diplomacy, meaning if you have the perk, you ought to be using it. Unless there's some SAN penalty I missed.

Nope, there's never a Sanity penalty for using Diplomacy!

So yeah, whoever has it can go all out with it if they'd like.
