If my parents call when I'm driving then I have to answer. No if and or buts about it.

I assume you're allowed to use phones when driving where you are then? You're not allowed to use them at all here, not even touch them or have them in your lap. You can have them on a bracket if you're using it for gps, but only when you have your full license (after 4 years of driving). Before that you can't even use them for gps. xD
I can't even imagine trying to use a phone while driving really. It would be way too distracting.
Yes, yes, and yes.
Here where I live, it is perfectly legal to use your phone for GPS or to call someone. Texting while driving is not allowed. There was a short period of time where none of this was allowed, but that was repealed due to a sharp increase in accidents in the six months following its implementation. So now we only have a ban on texting and driving.
It's actually not all that distracting once you get used to it. Texting, yes. I do that at stop lights but other than that I never touch it. But talking on the phone isn't all that bad. The most difficult part is answering the phone. But otherwise if you need to make a call, just ask Siri by going, "Hey Siri, call Tim Scott mobile on speaker" and she'll call for you hands free. Plus if someone calls you and you manage to answer just put it on speaker phone. If you're driving they'll understand if you're a bit slow to answer.
As for the kidnapping, yes please. It's why I've been fighting so hard to spend a semester abroad in Melbourne but my parents are gently forcing me into a double major that will require me to study in a Spanish speaking country and I've already been told if that does happen (which it will) I will have to study in Spain because despite the fact I want to study in South America I don't get that vote. I had the Australia thing all planned out and then conveniently after I brought it up to my parents they decided I should be a double major that requires me to study in a country that is far closer to the US meaning they can actually call me when it's not 12 AM our time. Total coincidence right? There's a reason I'm fighting so hard to spend my summer up in DC this coming year.
And in regards to the GPS, yes, they do have a tracker on me. Or rather, in my phone. They can at any time check my phone's location. It's how the one time I tried sneaking out I got caught. However, since I got a new phone, the tracker has been a bit glitchy. Not sure if they've noticed it yet, but I can actually toggle the tracker to which phone it tracks. I have my old phone with me at college so if I wanted to sneak out all I have to do is toggle the switch and it'll look like I'm in my dorm room.
Your parents are TOTAL CONTROL FREAKS OF THE HIGHEST ORDER. Seriously, they really need to learn how to let go and stop treating you like you're their personal puppet.
Have fun choosing a retirement home for them.
Tell me about it. All they do is control me. They picked where I work currently and won't let me quit. They pick my classes, they pick my major, they pick my clothes, etc. There's a reason I usually wear t-shirts and glasses, cause they aren't around to see me not wearing their selected clothes. They care about me, I know that much, but at some point in my life my status went from child to puppet.
Careful they might even tell you what to name your kid and where THEY go to school.

Yeah, they might start deciding at what intervals you have to breathe at, what decibel level you're allowed to speak at, how long you need to brush your teeth for, how long your shower is allowed to be, how many times you're allowed to sneeze, how many times you're allowed to blink in a day, and how many times you're allowed to go to the bathroom.
Your parents should be harassing a robot with that nonsense, not you.
