Gah, this is so stupid.

I'm on my way home from visiting my grandparents, currently sitting in an airport. My first flight was scheduled for 8AM this morning, but one of the enge's starter's failed completely, so we all had to get off the plane so they could take it in for replacement parts. So instead of leaving this morning, I'm leaving at 3 in the afternoon. which is the same time my connecting flight was supposed to take off. Luckily there was another one I could book a spot on, but it doesn't leave until 10 tonight and I won't get home until past midnight.

They gave us a free lunch at least while we waited, and there is free wifi. The wifi is a joke though. There is this really stupid site blocking system, as if this was a high school instead of an airport. This is one of the onlysite I was able to get on (of the ones I generally hang around) the others are blocked for "games" or "multimedia" which means I also can't listen to the radio at all, since they all count as multimedia sites. They even block sites without actually blocking them. I can't get on youtube, not because it's blocked, but because its DNS server "happens" to be down.

So in other words, my flight got delayed 7 hours, there's not much to do here, I have 6-7 hours of flight to actually take still, the wifi here is bull, and I'm not getting home until after midnight as opposed to 5 this afternoon.
