I still gotta make my final walk through Toys R Us soon. Before they close or run out of things. I told my brother we needed to. I got this weekend since I've got 3 days off :)

Just surprised my co-workers with bacon today. Think I got one too many, but needless to say...they loved it xD
It's fun and most people have pretty positive reception to it! For Christmas, I did go a little crazy with it. I had a whole Christmas tree, flashing lights strung around, and cool stuff like that. It actually makes it a fun place to work!

Bacon, huh? Seems unusual, usually I go with candy or donuts. But you can never go wrong with bacon.

Seems obscure, but that probably deals with the financial and economic business impact of engineering. Or at least that's what I'm thinking.

What kinds of jobs have those that you know of? I've tried looking into contract work, but I think that's a bit off of what I was looking for. Or at least something along those types of lines.

Aha, yeah I told a co-worker I would one day. I've thought of doing the donut thing one day, but bacon and all xD. I think i ended up getting one too many.

    The time is upon us...

My math tutor said he didn't have to take anything economics related in college as an electrical engineer.

There's quite a variety of them. Anything that has you working more on a computer and doing more documentation is something that will likely have you working in a cubicle.

I mean, it can be sleepy and boring work too, though. And you don't always end up with a cube. Some places have it very "open concept" where everyone can see each other and there's really not all that much space to put anything. Now that seems bleh.

Hmm, must be one of these new things then. I had to take a "quantitative methods for business" class which was algebra and calculus heavy crap and I can tell you right now, the "for business" part was a lie. It ended up being just another advanced math class for all the business majors to hate and loathe. >.< I barely passed but I can tell you it was the happiest D letter grade I've ever gotten. Especially when people were failing that class over and over again and changing majors because of it.

Yeah, I had to rely on a tutor for that class. He even gave me good advice on who the best professor is just in case I ended up failing and having to retake it. Great guy, ended up making the difference between passing and failing. I wish I had gone to him sooner because I only did it toward the last quarter of the class and I might have been able to pull through with a C if I had done so.

And hey, I would have hired you if you had been around on campus while I was taking that class!

I can tutor digitally too. And not only make the math make sense, but actually make you like it.

I feel like I'd like to work on stuff like that as long as it didn't involve lots of complicated math stuff. I'm pretty good at planning and keeping tracking of things. That and paperwork type stuff.

Yeah work like that is always boring, but I'm sure it has its ups and downs. The more privatized seems like they'd be the best.

Get me to like math!? CAREFUL. That's a very high challenge to try and meet!

Usually the work is fine. It's the PEOPLE that will be more of a pain in the butt more often than not. Have a great manager? Sweet deal! But if you have a crappy one, it's going to be rough roads no matter what kind of work you're doing.

It would actually be easier than you'd think, Neo. Math has a powerful beauty, the only problem is that schools are terrible at showing it.
