The $999 might be because that was the original price for it way back when. It's kind of the same deal for video cards. Once new ones come out, the old ones start dropping in price. But yeah, I get you, I'm not sure about it either.

Right now I'm still only working part-time as I wait for my other part-time role to start. I'm only really breaking even in most cases so I don't really go on spending sprees as much as I used to. Once I go back to full time I'll give myself that "fun money" to play around with.
