You may have to wait a little bit longer to play at in-person competitions.
Play! Pokemon has announced that they will continue to suspend live events for the reminder of the 2020 year. This is mostly due to the global COVID-19 health pandemic. All events will remind cancelled for the reminder of the year. They going to continue to monitor the situation to ensure that safety of fans, players, and organizers can all enjoy playing Pokemon in a safe health environment.
There have been a few other pieces of information that was revealed regarding the current situation and upcoming online events.
November Announcement
The first piece of information is that Pokemon is planning to release information in November 2020 regarding details for next year. This will be involving details for the Play! Pokémon program in early 2021.
Play! Pokemon Team Challenge
Secondly, Play! Pokemon has reveal that they will continue the Play at Home program for the time being. Though they will also start “Play! Pokémon Team Challenge” for the TCG later this year. We do not any details regarding this at the moment.
