Podcast Central: Into the Tall Grass

Nothing is more exciting and scarier then taking your first steps into a new adventure. It is something that we all face going into Pokemon where we have a brand new adventure with many things to explore and talk about. We were and are continuing to start new adventures. It simply just begins by going into the tall grass.

We have a new podcast entering our spotlight lineup! It is a podcast created by our very own Harry, Ray and Xanthe (Suicune’s Fire) called Beyond the Tall Grass! This podcast is a collaboration between Pokemon Crossroads and Petalburg Woods Network to bring you a show that goes beyond the tall grass of the Pokemon world. There is a world behind the video game screen that not many people talk about but we got a trio that is willing to do that. It is dangerous in the tall grass but we got the podcast to help make it easier to handle.

We are starting off by spotlighting our own Beyond the Tall Grass podcast! Harry, Ray and Xanthe start things off in their first episode by going beyond the tall grass in a discussion about Pokemon in the real world! This conversation started off with Pokemon Go and ends with what counts as a real friend. Are friends real if they start eating your own lunch? Next we have the Pikapi Podcast where Anne goes over an episode that features one of the Rocket Trio’s best schemes. The episode that Anne goes over features an old rap title and imposters all over the place.

If you want to hear another passionate voice then take a listen to PTCG Radio where Ross recounts his latest Expanded format experience. In the episode we are spotlighting, Ross talks about a tournament where he rocked it by using Regirock. If you want to hear more passionate voices then take a listen to Kanto Cast as Blue and Yellow answers even more fan questions in honor of their one year anniversary. They go over how much dedication it takes to run a podcast and the love that goes into it. We also have P.U.C.L. Podcast where they talk about their favorite Steel types in a passionate way. Which ones are their favorites and who they wish saw more love in the form of a Mega Evolution?

PKMNcast have an episode where they talk about Arceus and his feature movie. They even mention the talks about a possible live action movie that could be coming to a theater near you. The Dex! Podcast also went ahead and talk about the news for a live action Pokemon movie. What do these guys think about this news? Take a listen to find out.
