It has been reported that information for the August English TCG set has been released. The name for this set will be Steam Siege which will feature Shiny M Gardevoir EX, Volcanion EX, Xerneas BREAK, and Yveltal BREAK.
Steam Siege will be based on the Japanese TCG set Cruel Traitor/Explosive Fighter. The Japanese set will be release on June 17th. This set is suppose to help promote the release of the Volcanion and Magearna movie which is set to release in July.
There is currently little information concerning Cruel Traitor/Explosive Fighter besides Shiny M Gardevoir EX and Volcanion EX acting as the featured Pokemon for the sets. It looks like the XY BREAK mechanic will continue based on the inclusion of Xerneas BREAK and Yveltal BREAK in the set. Also, recently it was announced that a full art Professor Sycamore card will be given out to those who order a booster box of Cruel Traitor/Explosive Fighter. We will most likely see this card included in this set.

“Long years of stability come to an end when Shiny Mega Gardevoir-EX lays siege to the mighty Gear Palace with a host of greedy forces. The Mythical Steam Pokemon Volcanion must wield the dual powers of Fire and Water to stop them!”
The Japanese promotional information for Cruel Traitor/Explosive Fighter mention that a new mechanic will be included in this set. Based on the description, it mention that Volcanion EX “must wield the dual powers of Fire and Water”. Is this a hint that the new mechanic may involve the return of dual type Pokemon? We have seen some dual type Pokemon via abilities such as Golurk from Ancient Origins. Though we have not seen a Pokemon with actual dual types since the Delta Species era in Gen3. It would make sense seeing that Volcanion does have an interesting type combination.
Steam Siege will be release after Fates Collide. Recently a reprint set called Premium Champion Set was release in Japan. There has been no word if or when this will be release in the United States. It may be possible that Premium Champion Set will be release in the United States after Steam Siege as the November set. Though this may depend on when Pokemon Sun and Moon will be release and if Japan will be wanting to delay the release of their first Sun and Moon set to be after the release of the games.
Fates Collide will officially release on May 4th. Steam Siege will be release on August 3rd.
