According to a report by PKMNcast, a reprint of the Pokemon Monopoly, originally published in 1995, will arrive in September 2014. What’s the difference, you ask? According to Board Game Geek, the 1995 version had locations and characters in Pokemon Animated Series infused into the game, along with a variant of “Pokemon Powers” instead of “Doubles Roll Again.”
The games were unveiled at the International America Toy Fair held in New York in Feburary. The Pokemon themed Monopoly will keep to the Kanto themed board and will retail for $45 MSRP later in September .
